Someone bought me on of those British Publications about "collectible cars," for Chistmas this year. The whole thing is chuck-full of innacuracies, and blatant, off-the-wall, talkin'-out-your-ass commentary about lots of wonderful cars, that the authors will never know. I think much of it is simple, Freudian, "penis envy," myself. Well, it's all a myth, you folks in the Mother Country. Those horsepower ratings will never compare with the old Sir John Lucas electrics you're so famous for!
First, this was NOT filmed with an SRT-10. What these Brits have is a V-10 Magnum, (which they semi-accurately describe), and they attempt to flog it around, trying to make everyone think this is the engine out of a Viper. Let's be clear -- IT IS NOT! The only ting it has in common with an SRT-10 is the nameplate, and the fact that there are four round things. on which it rolls both forward and backward.
It's amazing how they get it sooo wrong, so often!
ok so my dad has a black Dodge ram v10 and he put a super chip and a lift kit on a dodge ram but this video is faulse cause this truck is ment for hauling........ this truck is a fucking beast but it shouldnt be ment for racing and going fast and dont put a lift kit on both sides cause it will be too tall..... only on the back so you can adjust you truck with the trailer.....
This guy is totally wrong*shakes head left and right*
Viper BORROWED the v10 engine from the Dodge Ram.
All Chrysler did(when they used to own Lamborghini, THAT'S RIGHT, LAMBORGHINI) was recasted the Iron Blocks and did some few modifications. Chrysler did this since the people who were head of Chrysler thought that it would be expensive to build and engine exclusivly for the Viper.
So therefore, the V10 was orginially made for the Dodge Ram BEFORE the Viper was introduced.
the viper engine is the same engine, reengineered and made of aluminum. but it is anachronistic to refer to the motor in the truck as the one out of the viper, the truth is the opposite.
This is why the English are always ragging on us Americans cars. We fucked their days back during the revolution, we still have guns, we have muscle not purses, and we have dental insurance. Nough said
@ProductionsJoe I know but still, they had 2.3 engines that made 230 hp aswell. But at the end of the day it was probably a fun truck to drive nonetheless.
@Mario4Italy Besides the fact that it was built to pull and haul stuff, not to go flying down the Autobahn and triple-digit speeds. Pulling and hauling is done at slow speeds, and at low engine RPMs. This one makes its peak torque of 425-450 lb-ft at around 3100 or 3200 RPM. The added benefit to having your engine spend its entire operational life below 5500 rpm is longevity. These Magnum V-10s were very reliable and durable. The rest of the truck wasn't great, but the engine was.
@Mario4Italy They could have made the engine more powerful without sacrificing longevity, however they had no transmissions that could handle the power. And at the end of the day, not many people care.
@Mario4Italy I have one of these magnificent monsters and I love it. Mine is a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 with the V10 in it. The only bad thing is the gas mileage lol
Presenter got a bit backwards. The viper engine came from the truck not the other way around. Only difference being that lambo cast it in Al and the heads and the heads were also warmed over by lambo giving it the extra 100hp over the truck motors.
@thebeegfoot If you/re talking about civilians... no they do not have legal access to assault rifles and shit like that. AS far as their police and military goes, they have as good of guns as anyone else.
Last thing i read someone was laughing about a V4 engine with 600HP comparing it to this truck... Id love to see your V4 Turbo pull 14k POUNDS of weight or put 8900 lbs of gravel or sand in the back of your trunk.
Is this from before the RAM SRT 10 was born?THAT`S a proper psycho-machine! This is just......well,a Dodge TRUCK,where as the SRT 10 is actually a "great" handling CAR disguised as a truck:-D But i wouldn`t want to buy/own one, bcoz there IS another great car with a Viper engine. It`s called the VIPER!
The thing is, a V10 was built for working. The V10 could pull 13,400 lbs. The SRT10 is just some suped up racing pick up that is rated for no more then around 6500-7500 lbs. Its the same thing with Jeeps, the SRT8 Jeep is made for speed, not off-roading and could tow only 3500 lbs lol.
@1ownjoo2 I get what u r saying,but the way it`s presented in this clip it sounds like he\s trying 2 sell a "racing pickup" if u understand.Atleast thats how I understood it."WOW,a truck with a V10.MAD STUFF". I donno the torque in this vs. the SRT10 (and i don`t understand poundfeet.I`m a "metric guy:P I need NM`s) The VW touareg 5.0 liter V10 tdi pulls a Boeing 747 bcoz it has close 2 800 nm torque(310 bhp).My Touareg 4.2 V8 has 345 bhp,but only 440 nm,and that wouldn`t move it an inch....
SRT10 is 550lbs of torque and 520hp. That tourareg is 550lbs of torque or 750nm, altho according to wiki i see 2 charts one for 550 and one for 610 im not sure why there is 2.
Your comparing a diesel to a v10 gasoline engine. . The Diesel ram (same year version) was like 500lbs of torque. The newer ones are around 650lbs. They are also 6 cylinder diesels vs your 10. That VW was cancled in the US it couldnt meet the Emissions standard, it put off too much pollution
@1ownjoo2 Yes,comparing 2 get my point across, beeing that i don`t see the reason in putting a performance PETROL engine in something that can never be a performance CAR.If they were hell bent on having a V10 ram,why not make it a diesel instead. And that the SRT10 is pretty cool, but this WASN`T a SRT10:P I think we`re talking across one another.U see, english isn`t my 1st language:-) So:HOORAY 4 BIG ASS ENGINES AND GREAT CARS:-D
@1ownjoo2 N.B there is 2 bcoz there is a gen.1 and gen. 2 Touareg.A midlife facelift so to say.Mine is a gen.2 it has more chrome in the front, different grill and some other minor changes.I think it\s one of the best cars i`ve ever owned.it`s my 1st VW,and i was pleseant surprize:-) But it\s starting to get old,so i`m looking 4 a 2nd hand Merc E63 AMG wagon Now that there is a new model, the "old" one is on sale.I never buy bran new.2nd hand=Half price+waranty.
@1ownjoo2 GOOGLE GOOGLE:P tHE SRT 10 has 525 poundft of torque. That`s 712 n.m (it showed both) Oh well,if i wanted a V10 it would still be in a Viper and if i needed a TRUCK it would be some big ass dieselfueled torque-monster:-) The FIRST Viper.Genesis.The daddy!THAT`S a real Viper. No sidewindows,no outside doorhandles,no airbags,no NOTHING exept a monster V10 wrapped in a brutal looking body. With sidepipes..... Oh yeah!
Yea btu the truck isnt built for working thats why it sucks IMO. Look at the pictures and see how low it sits, its built for racing. Which i find odd lol.
I wouldnt want a V10 period. Uses way to much gas. Those V10 dodge trucks get like 8MPG, I'd rather stick to a V8, or get a diesel. The V8 version (5.9 liter V8) of that V10 magnum is what i have in my Jeep, if you look at my page.
I have a 95 ram 2500 v10, 5 speed Dana 80 in back with posi and 4:10 gears with 35" thornbirds no cat and a flowmaster super 44. Takes off like a bat out of hell and goes through feet deep of mud and off roads like a dream. I drove a 6.8 v10 triton, not even close to a mopar 8.0 v10
We need to stop comparing US cars to European cars. They both have good and bad points. European cars are better handling and tighter, US cars are less on handling and more on HP and "Muscle". I love European cars and American Cars. I love cars in general. So I wont bother comparing. Personally I dont like Corvettes. But I dont like 911's either. I love Vipers and I love Ferrari's.
@cwilliams3567 your comments has to be the DUMBEST one ever. " US cars are less on handling and more on HP and "Muscle" " Corvette Z06 and ZR-1, Dodge Viper ACR and ACR-X and the list goes on we have broken records in the NURBURGRING against EUROPEAN cars and BEAT them.
@cwilliams3567 not sure if i agree with american vs euro part as the viper acr holds record at nurberg'. But yes i love all cars, american, euro, japanese. Viper, Ferrari, and even that lexus supercar
Hey Limey, the "Worlds Most Stupidly Overpowered Handgun" was named after a champagne bottle from your cheese eating surrender monkey cousins, the French. Also, let's not forget the fish n chips powered Vauxhall Magnum manufactured some 20 years before this truck.....Don't blame us for the loss of your freedoms, it's why we left.
@Slinger646 "WE left"? Were YOU onboard the Mayflower, eating God knows what, almost starving to death the first years etc?NOOO,u r just a spoiled flagwaving r-tard thinking America is the best thing since sliced bread.Truth is the rest of the world hates you.And DON`T go WW2 on me.Europe never asked u 4 SHIT! Japan blitzed ur asses in2 oblivian by taking out ur pacific fleet, and THATS how America got sucked in2 WW2.America would be a GREAT place if it wasn`t 4 all the americans living there.
Europeans just can't comprehend why the specs of torque ft-lbs are higher than the # of horsepower in any engine of a road vehicle other than if it's a commercial truck or construction machinery
Well all i know is horace and john have been making reliable machines for decades. I have owned all trucks my life, and all rams. 2500 97 cummins, two 01 1500's, and an 08 cummins 3500 non dual. There should be little arguing here. Obviously a little tuning and/or swapping was done by chrysler when they shipped it to the UK, for the Viper show case as he mentioned. But my question i think goes to the music guys out there.
@MrThebull09 Depends, if it's Jacked up with perfect paint, straight body, and an under-carriage you can eat off of, I completely agree. But if it's cover in dents and "Desert pin stripping" with it's weight in mud filling the frame. Then it's a different story.
true that. The magnum V10 is Chrysler's 1st gen V10. Even the FIRST Viper motor is a 2nd gen that had been completely rebuilt and designed by Lamborghini. NONE of the parts are interchangeable between the iron block Magnum V10, and the alloy Viper motors.... infact, the magnum V10 has more in common with the 5.2 and 5.9 V8s than the Viper O.o;; 3rd gen viper heads come close, but not quite. *sigh* I had hoped Top Gear to be more informed >_<
this is a great clip but I think they got alittle confused. the ram doesnt come with the viper v10 in it, its a revamped detuned torque based engine roughly 200 something hp and a little over 400lb torque. the Cummins has even less stock but more low end torque than the V10, dont believe it then watch the mastertech 3 part series breaking the V10 down from top to bottom
The brits are missing the point of this truck, its to haul your toys around. See, in the US people own cool toys like track bikes, custom cars, big boats, jetskis, airplanes etc and they need a vehicle that can get those toys to their respective playgrounds and back home. Plus its a great farm vehicle too, pull a horse trailer or a tree stump all day. Its was not designed to be a daily driver, a shopping vehicle or a family vehicle, its a working truck.
@PaladinXM8 yeahhh and that's an 8.4 liter v10 which produces...610hp. While you got 6.2 amg v8 which produces 570hp....that's 2.2 liters+2 pistons more for just 40hp more???
@sdfhsdhgs you think they cant get more power out of it? its in a truck and tuned as such. do you want 700 lb-ft of tourque at 7000 rpm in your truck or 500 lb-ft right when you push the pedal?. maybe they should hire you as there engineer.
@bigmax88 what does torque have to do with this...we were talking about horse power...if they want to get 300 hp out of the engine than it can be reached with less cc...why not put in a smaller one 5.5 or i dunno 5.7 even 6.0 maybe, with a v8 off course...this way you get less mpg too....i.e.(unfortunately mercedes doesn't produce trucks so I'll take the 5.0 litre v8 for the G-class as an example which produces 300 hp and ti also is an example of the same year production era as the RAM )!!!
@sdfhsdhgs ok, would you rather have a 5.7 litre screaming the top of its rev ban to get however much power you think you need while putting unneeded strain on the engine or a big lazy v10 that dosent even have to strain to get that power, its about reliability and TORQUE not hp, they didnt make it to go fast they made it to pull shit.
@sdfhsdhgs ok, would you rather have a 5.7 litre screaming the top of its rev band to get however much power you think you need while putting unneeded strain on the engine or a big lazy v10 that dosent even have to strain to get that power, its about reliability and TORQUE not hp, they didnt make it to go fast they made it to pull shit.
@sdfhsdhgs and there is more than just making the power, you want it to be in the right spots, 300 hp at 5000 rpm wouldnt be a very good idea in a truck. and the reason i talk about torque is because its a TRUCK not a car, and a 5.0 litre simply cant make the torque this does without being tuned to the gills to do so. they want a lot of torque on a low revving motor. people just dont get that. this is a truck.no 5 liter can make this power and this torque at this low of an rpm and be reliable
@sdfhsdhgs Maybe not, (I drive Euro imports only), but we sure know how to build a damn good boat or plane which makes up for it. Its a truck engine its not about horsepower, then again if I had to buy it I would get it with a V8 diesel, The only new American car/truck I am interested in is the Ford Raptor.
Im sure people have told you this... but Horse Power is not what drives a truck... Its Torque... and this Monster V10 gasoline engine has 450lbs of torque at around 3-4k rpm peak. Do you think US americans want a 600HP pickup that needs to be reved to 6-7RPM ? No we need something with alot of pulling power.
Just look it up man, torque is where real power is.. HP is nothing really important unless you want to go racing..
@1ownjoo2 ok man...i guess you're right. My bad, it looks like i don't know the relationship between HP and torque that well...But you're right though about the trucks and their torque...That's is what they really need torque...
I love the huge grill, just looks powerful and imposing, it's not the right kind of car for the British market though, fuel hungry, too big for parking and small village roads and you get your shopping nicked from the back.
i loved my v10, my buddy and i both had 35 foot holiday trailers, and in the mountains mine pulled just as good and got preety well the same fuel milage .... both just had the mild bolt ons.. ( exaust, cold air, and chips ) and in the 1/4 mile were neck and neck .... but unfortionatly we didnt video it .... but all in all its a good tough engine ...
This guy is a FAG! It's not a Viper engine. It's a totally different engine. Castiron heads, cast iron block. Not a single part is interchangable IIRC. Fucken Brits!
I like how they go on and on about the power, when in actuality it only had 50 horsepower more than the 5.9L Magnum V8. I once talked with a guy who had the V10 Ram, he hated the thing and then fell in love with a Cummins. The new Hemi Rams come with 390 horsepower, and yet deliver even better fuel economy than one of these 2nd Gen Rams would with the woefully inadequate 175-horse V6.
But really, my dream truck would be a 2nd-Gen Dodge Dakota, with the new 5.7 Hemi stuffed in the engine bay!
"It's the engine out of the Viper." Not quite. It's a heavily detuned version that is designed to be a high-torque, lower cost alternative to the diesel.
Day in the life of a truck. Take kids to school, haul thousands of pounds of goods, pick kids up from school, help friend move for free food and beer, go off roading then pull some poor bastard in a car out of3 inches of mud. By pass traffic by way of ditch. Then on the weekend pull trailer to lake and still have vehicle to drive.
It may be just 300 horsepower, but that's at a low 4,000 RPM and able to run on 87 octane gasoline. Never mind the 450 lb-ft of torque.
Of course, if it's an American full size pick-up truck, a European is always going to have negative remarks about it. Afterall, they don't have much use of a personal vehicle to carry so much.
@naturalyshocked If somethings over 200 Kg in Europe that need's to be moved, they call a local freight transport company. Here in the U.S. we're just not that lame about making a big deal of a little cargo to move and that's why we got those pick-up trucks. We also don't feel that a government agency needs to be enacted to manage every little dilima of society.
..... and most cars are hatchback, the can load more than 200 kg.
that's why we like hatchbacks, we drop the backseat and load what is needed.
why have commercial vihicle for life if you can have both, with a hatchback or stationwagon
aren't we clever?
he he?
Dilema!, dude i'm willing to bett 5us$ that our system better than yours, we ALL have halthcare, our roads are in much better condition than yours, nothing public is in bad shape, our population density is much bigger than yours.
@naturalyshocked Well, flip that seat back and haul 200 kg of gravel inside that hatchback. Your also going to need to make multiple trips to the quarry, because 200 kg of gravel more than likely won't surface the most minor project. Not to mention the car's interior upholstry is probably going to be ruined after that.
That's just one of many instances were it be best to have a large American Pick-Up Truck over the hatch back car.
@naturalyshocked Well, yes, I must admit the large towels and plastic sheets are the great inventions along with duct tape of modern times. I don't know about there in Europe, but they only sell the fancier expensive landscaping gravel in bags here in the U.S.. I'd need at least 50 bags if they sold driveway gravel like that just to fill in some potholes.
i am sick of these fucking arrogant and self righteous ass hole limeys on this show. they talk about americans and their vehicles like uncivilized rednecks. but as a native american, i have first hand family stories of just how brutal and crude the english are. blow it out your butter scone and teas sipping asses
I'm getting fed up with this now. THIS IS TOP GEAR. I recorded the ***king program when it was on. Top Gear has been around since I was a child. It's not always been the clowning around Clarkson format that everyone knows now, and this is from an old program. Steve Berry was a presenter on it. If you don't believe me GOOGLE IT!
@djphilmanns wow ok i'm sorry to get your stuff in a twist.......... SORRY!!! ATTENTION ALL!!!!!! MISTAKING THIS FOR 5TH GEAR MAY BE HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH, MAKE NOTE, THIS IS TOP GEAR AND JEREMY CLARKSON ISN'T THE ONLY PERSON ON TOPGEAR!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! now chill the fuck out ok.... SORRY GOES A LONG WAY!!!!!!!
Ha Ha! Sorry! but if you read down there are other people who keep telling me this is not Top Gear and it annoys me when I know what it is as I recorded it myself. It even has the Top Gear music at the start. Chilled Phil :-)
@djphilmanns as i said, i am sorry, i watch top gear as much as i can and i have never seen steve berry before ever, even the old top gear videos i've seen, never has berry been in them, i am sorry and may my warning be seen, good video by the way.
@boredmud In reality your wrong. This is an old top gear show. Theres many many top gears through years. This was BBC2's Top Gear that he hosted since 1992 to 1999. Do some research to see for yourself. His name is Steve Berry.
@boredmud it sucks here in thestates we dont get to see alot of the top gear shows, you can go to a few websites to see most, but even there it says that some cant be seen if you live in the usa
This is 'old' Top Gear before it was canceled and revived in the 'new' format in 2002 with Clarkson, Hammond and the fat man whose name I can't remember. James May came along in the 2nd series I believe it was.
@smitz94 Yes because it was used in most of the scenes of the entire movie but they also used a 1500 Ram V8 as a stunt vehicle in some scenes, especially the tanker explosion scene.
@desimunda116 It's tuned for torque, not horespower. And it's a pushrod engine too. So an 8000 cc pushrod engine is MUCH smaller than an overhead cam engine of comparable displacement
So is this the original top gear? Clarkson's version is much much better
bighunterman77 2 weeks ago
@bighunterman77 Clarkson was in this version.

1ownjoo2 10 months ago
@1ownjoo2 Yes,comparing 2 get my point across, beeing that i don`t see the reason in putting a performance PETROL engine in something that can never be a performance CAR.If they were hell bent on having a V10 ram,why not make it a diesel instead. And that the SRT10 is pretty cool, but this WASN`T a SRT10:P I think we`re talking across one another.U see, english isn`t my 1st language:-) So:HOORAY 4 BIG ASS ENGINES AND GREAT CARS:-D
EVILSPAWN1000 10 months ago
EVILSPAWN1000 10 months ago
Oh yeah!

@EVILSPAWN1000

BoyMixer 1 year ago
TheRGFury 1 year ago
this is a great clip but I think they got alittle confused. the ram doesnt come with the viper v10 in it, its a revamped detuned torque based engine roughly 200 something hp and a little over 400lb torque. the Cummins has even less stock but more low end torque than the V10, dont believe it then watch the mastertech 3 part series breaking the V10 down from top to bottom
somewhathigh 1 year ago
The brits are missing the point of this truck, its to haul your toys around. See, in the US people own cool toys like track bikes, custom cars, big boats, jetskis, airplanes etc and they need a vehicle that can get those toys to their respective playgrounds and back home. Plus its a great farm vehicle too, pull a horse trailer or a tree stump all day. Its was not designed to be a daily driver, a shopping vehicle or a family vehicle, its a working truck.

@PaladinXM8 yeahhh and that's an 8.4 liter v10 which produces...610hp. While you got 6.2 amg v8 which produces 570hp....that's 2.2 liters+2 pistons more for just 40hp more???
sdfhsdhgs 1 year ago
@sdfhsdhgs you think they cant get more power out of it? its in a truck and tuned as such. do you want 700 lb-ft of tourque at 7000 rpm in your truck or 500 lb-ft right when you push the pedal?. maybe they should hire you as there engineer.
bigmax88 1 year ago
@bigmax88 what does torque have to do with this...we were talking about horse power...if they want to get 300 hp out of the engine than it can be reached with less cc...why not put in a smaller one 5.5 or i dunno 5.7 even 6.0 maybe, with a v8 off course...this way you get less mpg too....i.e.(unfortunately mercedes doesn't produce trucks so I'll take the 5.0 litre v8 for the G-class as an example which produces 300 hp and ti also is an example of the same year production era as the RAM )!!!
sdfhsdhgs 1 year ago
@sdfhsdhgs ok, would you rather have a 5.7 litre screaming the top of its rev ban to get however much power you think you need while putting unneeded strain on the engine or a big lazy v10 that dosent even have to strain to get that power, its about reliability and TORQUE not hp, they didnt make it to go fast they made it to pull shit.
bigmax88 1 year ago

bigmax88 1 year ago
@sdfhsdhgs and there is more than just making the power, you want it to be in the right spots, 300 hp at 5000 rpm wouldnt be a very good idea in a truck. and the reason i talk about torque is because its a TRUCK not a car, and a 5.0 litre simply cant make the torque this does without being tuned to the gills to do so. they want a lot of torque on a low revving motor. people just dont get that. this is a truck.no 5 liter can make this power and this torque at this low of an rpm and be reliable
bigmax88 1 year ago
@sdfhsdhgs Maybe not, (I drive Euro imports only), but we sure know how to build a damn good boat or plane which makes up for it. Its a truck engine its not about horsepower, then again if I had to buy it I would get it with a V8 diesel, The only new American car/truck I am interested in is the Ford Raptor.
GunsOfThePhoenix 1 year ago
@sdfhsdhgs
1ownjoo2 10 months ago
@1ownjoo2 ok man...i guess you're right. My bad, it looks like i don't know the relationship between HP and torque that well...But you're right though about the trucks and their torque...That's is what they really need torque...

mikef4irider 1 year ago
I like how they go on and on about the power, when in actuality it only had 50 horsepower more than the 5.9L Magnum V8. I once talked with a guy who had the V10 Ram, he hated the thing and then fell in love with a Cummins. The new Hemi Rams come with 390 horsepower, and yet deliver even better fuel economy than one of these 2nd Gen Rams would with the woefully inadequate 175-horse V6.
But really, my dream truck would be a 2nd-Gen Dodge Dakota, with the new 5.7 Hemi stuffed in the engine bay!

It may be just 300 horsepower, but that's at a low 4,000 RPM and able to run on 87 octane gasoline. Never mind the 450 lb-ft of torque.
Of course, if it's an American full size pick-up truck, a European is always going to have negative remarks about it. Afterall, they don't have much use of a personal vehicle to carry so much.
tarmac2001 1 year ago 3
dude, our commercial vihicles are much more mature.
the Mercedes Benz Vario Pritschenwagen, the VW Crafter, VW transport, Opel Movano, etc, etc
all of them are fast, more than 100m/h topspeed, perfectly stable @ 100m/h, being people carrier or for hauling load, depending configuration.
here people don't use their commercial vihicles for personal trips.
if i need one, i borrow 1, why they hell do i need to own such lame vihicle, they suck. yet it's fun doing 100m/h on the highway with load.
naturalyshocked 1 year ago
@naturalyshocked If somethings over 200 Kg in Europe that need's to be moved, they call a local freight transport company. Here in the U.S. we're just not that lame about making a big deal of a little cargo to move and that's why we got those pick-up trucks. We also don't feel that a government agency needs to be enacted to manage every little dilima of society.
tarmac2001 1 year ago
..... and most cars are hatchback, the can load more than 200 kg.
that's why we like hatchbacks, we drop the backseat and load what is needed.
why have commercial vihicle for life if you can have both, with a hatchback or stationwagon
aren't we clever?
he he?
Dilema!, dude i'm willing to bett 5us$ that our system better than yours, we ALL have halthcare, our roads are in much better condition than yours, nothing public is in bad shape, our population density is much bigger than yours.
naturalyshocked 1 year ago
@naturalyshocked Well, flip that seat back and haul 200 kg of gravel inside that hatchback. Your also going to need to make multiple trips to the quarry, because 200 kg of gravel more than likely won't surface the most minor project. Not to mention the car's interior upholstry is probably going to be ruined after that.
That's just one of many instances were it be best to have a large American Pick-Up Truck over the hatch back car.
tarmac2001 1 year ago
dude, we put much more than 200kg if nessesary.
we also haul gravel, cement and everything whats needed and fits.
there are inventions, called sheet plastic, large towels, bed sheets.
besides they sell gravel in 25kg bags, just like cement.
if you need bigger, you rent a opel movano, vw transporter, etc, etc
naturalyshocked 1 year ago
@naturalyshocked Well, yes, I must admit the large towels and plastic sheets are the great inventions along with duct tape of modern times. I don't know about there in Europe, but they only sell the fancier expensive landscaping gravel in bags here in the U.S.. I'd need at least 50 bags if they sold driveway gravel like that just to fill in some potholes.
