I'm going to buffalo ny for smallmouths and hopefully salmon if their there what would be the best month in the spring for them.  Thanks

If I had to pick one month it would be April.

Yes. Last Year they arrived in small numbers in late March. The best fishing for smallmouth in Elk Creek will take place in April and early May. May is the best month in Presque Isle Bay.
