@daspoon456 Yes we don't know that much about the characters yet being that it has only been a FEW episodes. It takes more than five or six episodes in a serialized show like TN to CONNECT with them and part of that is through the love triangles. Lost in first 6 eps we barely knew anything but jack/kate/sawyer tri was introduced and with TIME and PATIENCE look how it turned out. TN is trying to be like XF? makes no sense as XF took a whole 22 epseason before we really understand Mulder and

@daspoon456 sorry begin to understand M &Scully's character and relationship and for the arc mythology to first really start. Therefore comparing the two shows makes no sense because you expect to know what we learned from S1 22 eps of XF, or Lost, which was a good amount but just the tip of the iceburg, again only SIX eps of TN you call it garbage for not giving you answers so early, what show does? TN eps also is serialized like Lost: stand alone/arc mixed in. XF 4 or 5 arc eps in any season

@daspoon456 there have been like 8 episodes. we should know WAY more about the characters now then we do. and by comparing it to x-files i mean it has a dumbass plot that they never know how to continue so they advance the show by doing stupid things like killer birds and anmesia that one guy doesnt get because he has a cold.

This, like Lost, is a serialized show that does both stand alone and arc eps and only 4 eps in people want all the answers. Just saw this. Complete crap in my opinion. They did the memory loss thing again, and one guy isn't infected because he has a cold. That has been done so many times. Plus there was a massive dinosaur at the start and all through the show you think it's gonna strike again but you never see it. Was thinking that this show was gonna be great considering who was involved but the scripts are dire.

Anyone who didn't get the ending of Lost (or even worse, thought that S6 implied that they died since the beginning of S1) shouldn't even be watching Lost. You missed the whole point.

They WERE all on the island and all the events in the present flashforwards and backwards HAPPENED. In season 6 they started they started showing what they called Flash Sideways, which was an alternate version of the lives of everyone had they not crashed on the island and THAT was the figment

It was basically their afterlives, with the island taken away, thus symbolizing that the island was not the most important aspect of the show, but rather the people that they met and loved on the island were. It was not by any means an alternate version of their lives resulting from the bomb detonation at the end of season 5.

@DarkestSide1000 - I only watched the first season of Lost but I wasn't talking about that anyway. SGA stands for Stargate Atlantis and I think that this episode looks to be very similar to the SGA episode I mentioned - a military/science group are in another galaxy exploring it when they all (Earth-born people) start to lose their memories 'caused by a native illness to the galaxy. I think the basic episode plot looks to be the same. And, anyways, who thinks Lost and Terra Nova are similar? O_o

@DarkestSide1000 - Meh, I'm like the Queen of quick-temper in my household, no harm done. Plus you weren't an arsehole about it. Tabula Rasa is a popular name for shows to name after episode apparently as I'm sure I've seen it used before as well. If you haven't seen SGA then you should go give that a bash in your spare time between Terra Nova eppies. It had a great 5 season run and so far you can definitely draw some parralles between it and Terra Nova. It was a funny and had amazing effects.

I got sick of the whole never-going-anywhere-plot in LOST and I would have been pissed if I had watched all 5 seasons just for them to write out as some dream shit >:( But a lot of people liked it so it must have been an alright show. And I don't compare show details (unless they're spin-offs of an original) 'cause they're all different from cast, setting, etc. I like it, I like it. I don't like it, I don't like it. @DarkestSide1000 It would have ended even better if it hadn't been for the producers who vetoed a 6th season claiming to fans that they would tie up all the SGA finale loose ends in a TV/direct to DVD movie. They then went on to make a 3rd spin-off (Stargate Universe) in the Stargate franchise which then totally tanked in it's 2nd season, especially when original SGA fans who gave it a chance learned that there would be no SGA movie at all. A lot of the fans and even actors are still pissed off.

I think they should slow down a bit on the suspense.. the first episode was great! then it was Josh gets trapped in the forest and is attacked, then a swarm of DinoBirds come and now a virus? like everyday sometime bad happens to them haha how is this a paradis? =P i think they need to lay back abit and show the true nature of Terra Nova. To start over, not to Try to Survive..not yet anyway

IMO, they will after several episodes soon... right now, I think they should focus more to the story. I'm a bit disappointed watching the Bird as the second episode because we're still at the attracting stage. Is that what Fox could do? Bring a couple horde of birds for the SECOND episode? @101andrewj i think it's corny because it's meant to be a family show. to be honest, i really dont mind it and am actualy somewhat thankful i have something to look forward to--especially since V, stargate universe, and the event (damn thats a great show) have been cancelled and that falling skies (which i love despite the family stuff) isnt due for more episodes until summer.

btw who are the nutjobs that cancel all these great shows? do they hate sci fi or something?

@halorulesyourface i thought the event was a great show too, no shitty family feel good moments, just people geting killed and suspense and jason ritter was a great actor, but the show still failed, even with expensive sets, CGI and ad campaigns.. just like terra nova has now... these people get 1 bad report on a show, and they throw it away, this is why i only watch series on HBO and pay tv, because they always stick with their series
