  • This is when the commentators are suppose to say, you can't overtake there....

    The Iceman just did!!

  • Kimi is one of the few who will pass in monaco without kers / rearwing button and the _only_ one who is going to do it in THAT place without them

  • anybody notice the ferraris all the way in the back?

  • Why is shumacher in 18th position?

  • @Milenium412 because once again he cheated in qualifying and he got a penalty

  • @Milenium412 He 'stalled' in Q3 halting the session when Alonso was on a lap and was sent to the back of the grid.

  • A shame that Raikkonen didn´t win a race in 2006

  • @SennaRossiFan46 why is it a shame? hes an arrogant twat!

  • @Gamer120694 He is anything but arrogant...

  • @SennaRossiFan46 I agree he was let down by a sub-par car the other chances went out of the window due to engine relibaility, which Mercedes didn't sort til 2007.

  • when overtaking was drivers job...

  • I hate when the other commentater overreacts like that glad he's stopped

  • The reason why Ferrari are last and 18th is because they both screwed up in qualifying. Massa crashed while Schumacher parked his car on purpose to take pole, so the stewarts gave him a penalty.

  • why are ferrari last?

  • why are ferrari last?

  • ICEMAN is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @KyprosXD and Montoya, he was reckless when he was at Williams. Drivers like these make races exciting in this boring era of F1 currently. Bring back v10s!

  • Only Kimi Räikkönen can do an absolutely unbelievable pass! <3

  • only 3 person in the history of f1 have the guts and they are dangerousable( i don't know if this word is a word ..wtv) Lewis Hamilton, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher

Kimi Raikkonen is an other level..very higher than this 3 ( in overtaking always )

  • Schumacher 18th, Massa 21th! LOL

  • @ALF555ful They were sent to the back as a penalty after Q

  • @Homer0Simpson Massa crashed, while Schumacher was sent to the back for crashing on purpose to hamper Alonso's pole lap a tactic the stewards thankfully saw through though he did eventually finish 5th.

  • Williams had adecent car in '06 shame about the shockingly unreliable cosworth engine it robbed Webber of a victory at Monaco that year.

  • @ThecJc541spec30 Kimi had a blowup as well! so he wouldn't have won if they both didn't have them!

  • @bigraikkonenfan5 Mark had 1 less pitstop to make than Kimi and Alonso and stayed quite close to them until the blow up stragtegy dictates had all three finished then Mark would have taken the lead while Alonso and Kimi made their extra pitstop.

  • @ThecJc541spec30 webber is good driver but he is not so good like vettel, hamilton, alonso.

  • @ThecJc541spec30 :DDD You think that he would have won Alonso??

  • @Noppage yep he had the strategic advantage so he would have come out ahead wethear or not Alonso wouldve been able to get by well never know the Williams FW28 was very competitive at Monaco.

  • james allen is that u?? martin brundle and james u guys are the best!!! commentators

  • @bigraikkonenfan5 I mean massa won him, at the whole season in general. Sorry if I wasn't clear, i speak as good english as i can. Spanish! :D

  • @DeathNightmares no problem mate!!

  • In 2008 massa won him... let's say nothing else hahahahaha Even so, we all know he is so much better than massa and that he is a really really fast pilot. Aupa Alonso!!

  • @DeathNightmares hmm... massa never won at monaco! Rammilton won it in '08 !

  • @bigraikkonenfan5 Let's hope 'Ramilton' crashes into the Iceman.What a fanboy

  • dont get it, why are they good here, but now, no one is talking about them... and in the game f1 2011 aswell... only hamilton/button, webber/vettel and massa/alonso winning...

  • ferrari on 18 and 21? wtf xD

  • Brundle said during this years Monaco that it was impossible to pass going up the hill there, guess he forgot about this!

  • And when kimi was really close to Alonso his engine blow out. Damn i miss those times when mclaren was reaaally fast but the engine problems made it even more exciting :)

  • @Sekhurity But without Mclarens damn technical problems, Kimi would be now 2 or 3 times World Champion.....but always those damn technical problems prevented him to really fight for the championship....

Now I really hope that those talks about Kimi returning to F1 are true...even if it's only to Williams, in which Kimi could only hope to fight for few points in some races, but atleast that would be better that F1 without Kimi at all....and who knows if Schumi or Button retire after 2012...

  • @Balnazzardi You're right :) Lets just hope that. :)

  • @Balnazzardi Very true. Kimi could have been a mutliple world champion if not for mclaren's unreliablity issues.

  • @Balnazzardi button has signed a multi-year deal, he isn't going anywhere.

  • @metalbassline Yeah, but that wasnt the situation yet, when I wrote that comment ;P...so really the only places Kimi has chance to go is either to Mercedes or Red Bull after Schumi or Webber retires....

Most likely to Mercedes, since Helmut Marko from RedBull have said many times that when Webber decides to retire, they will first look at their yonger drivers, like Algersuari....on the other hand Vettel is like the closest friend Kimi has in F1 and RedBull sponsored Kimi last year so who knows.

  • @Balnazzardi yeah i know :p........................but yeah i would just love to see kimi back i don't care what team :D

  • @metalbassline Well it really seems almost entirely certain now that Kimi WILL return to F1 next year as driver for Williams....

First of all he hasnt even tried to learn those rally routes anymore, even though he had the chance to continue after they fixed his car in the last 2 races in France and Spain.....it has been confirmed that Kimi visited factory of Williams and that he was in photoshoot for the biggest F1 magazine....Kimi hasnt denied anything like he did last year with Renault and

  • finally this weekend, it was said that Kimi is training hard to get back into shape and former japanese F1 driver, who know handles some manager-business in Monaco wrote in twitter that the deal with Kimi and Williams is officially done....

The only big question has been how Williams is able to pay Kimi enough, that they woud need that big sponsor from Qatar to support them, but now it is rumored that Kimi himself got some big sponsor behind him, and Williams only has to make it official now

  • @Balnazzardi Wow, thanks for that mate! im excited now :D

  • Well Kimi had crap cars for 2001, 2004, 2006 and 2009 where he couldn't possibly challenge for the championship. Lost 2003 and 2005 due to car failures. 2002 was his first year at Mclaren but their car wasn't as fast as the Ferrari, still got 4th though. He won 2007 due to being the best for the second half of the year.

The only year I would say he sucked was 2008 and he still finished 3rd in the championship I believe and got 10 fastest laps which he shares the record with Schui.

  • The fastest F1 driver ever...if he wasn't so lazy and so unlucky, he might have more titles than schumacher

  • Kimi is the fastest

    GO KIMI

    FUCK ALONSO & HAMILTON

  • Anyone else wishing for an onboard camera shot?

  • Too bad both of them retired from the race..

  • Well it was not a "normal" pass. Webber just seemed to have a problem coming out of the corner. You can see that. There's no way you can pass there under normal circumstances. Just googled it: "Webber nearly crashed at the end of the first lap at St Devote when he braked a sniff too late on cold brakes and tyres. While the Australian managed to keep it out of the unforgiving barriers, the mistake allowed Raikkonen past."

  • The last car is a Ferrari ?? : )

  • Ferrari's driving in last place and 18th? Lolwut?

  • @MitchellTiwon Penalties?

  • @MitchellTiwon Schumacher got a penalty in qualifying and Massa wasn't able to set a time in qualifying due to damage

  • @DavoGers1 Of course the sad thing about Schumi's penalty is that he could have won this race. He finished fourth I think from a back of the grid start

  • @reptongeek

finished fifth, had to follow Coulthard and Ralf Schumacher to the flag - Coulthard nicking the last podium place to my satisfaction :D

  • that was an amazing overtake!

  • I love the bbc commentators :) Isnt this BBC right?

  • @RaamAnkka No. It's ITV. But it is Martin Brundle and James Allen.

  • I never knew you can Overtake on Monaco.

  • why cant cars look more like this again? , just take away all the silly aero things they had and add DRS and Floor Aero

  • The living legend Kimi Räikkönen!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Makes Webber look absolutely foolish!

  • MSC 18 and Massa 21 ?

    WUT ?!

    ??!

  • @TheUnPlayable Schumi got Disqualified from Quali,Remember he delibeterately blocked the Drivers in Q3 in order to bring out Yellow Flags and Prevent Alonso from going quicker than him(Prior to that Alonso was going fastest through the 1st and 2nd Sectors) and Massa crashed his Car or Damaged it to say to the Least in Q1 and the Stewards though that it was Unfit for Quali and therefore had to start at the back as well

  • @MclarenGunner11 ok ty :)

  • wasnt amazing at all. its what you call more horsepower and carrying more speed.

  • Kimi is so awesome he can do well in anything he drives. Even in his first Nascar race last weekend he finished 15th! Piquet Jr. managed only 21st! Kimi can, and WILL win in anything he drives. You just can't keep a good Iceman down, though that MP4-21 was crap. :-(

  • nobody can overtake in monaco? NO!! Kimi can!

  • owned

  • brilliant move from the Iceman !!!! so sad to see him leave F1 ... but he still has 1 World Championship ... and Webber has NONE lol

  • @1fourtheheap You seriously crack me up! Webber would have overtaken Seb if there were two additional laps, hell, he might have even challenged Lewis! He drove a spirited race from 18th on the grid, passing the likes of Rosberg, Massa, Alonso, and Button right at the end! His fastest lap was 2 seconds faster that Vettel...whaddya say to that?

  • @1fourtheheap You clearly have no idea.

  • please come back f1 !

  • Skubaniec xD

  • kimi is a great racer. you can tell schumis a lot better than massa cos he started from the pitlane and he's passed 4 cars, massa started on the grid and he hasnt passed anyone

  • @jonferrari93 yea Massa sucks. I dont hate the guy but he shouldn't be in a team like Ferrari. Ever since his unfortunate accident he has never performed as well as he did a few years back. Ferrari are already looking for a replacement for him next season it wouldn't suprise me. I hate Alonso though, he's a good driver but he "stole" massas win last year. He is a loser and Felipe probably isn't allowed to beat him this season (not that he would) otherwise the crying tantrums would start

  • @jonferrari93 Massa is coming out of the pits in this clip...

  • KIMI IS A REAL RACER! BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE ON THE GRID

I WISH HE RETURNED TO F1...

  • Lol nice commentary. "you dont often see cars passing webber without an extra pitstop"

  • kimi sucks

  • @motorsportfan1990 Well your face sucks lets you see do the same

  • @RaamAnkka

    you're gay

  • he was really on in that race. but fucking heat shield failure screwed his chance to win. that overtake was crucial, and alonso was astonished with Raikkonen's speed with that car.

  • he was really on in that race. but fucking heat shield failure screwed his chance to win. that overtake was crucial, and alonso was astonished with Raikkonen's speed with that car.

  • the camera guys are crap in this shot, an incredible overtaking move for kimi raikonen but apperantly a shot of the rest of the cars going past is more interesting

  • why were the ferrari's at the back ?

  • @qazqaz112 Remember Schumi got disqualified for doing that controversial move at la rascasse and Felipe i cant rememeber

  • @qazqaz112 massa crashed in qualifying

  • greatest talent ever!

  • good job

  • Webber took the corner before very slowly, it wasn't a genuine pass - calm down boys!

  • @togalogs dosent really matter. it is very difficult to overtake in monaco let alone around the outside no matter how slow the other car is. gotta give kimi kudos for that

  • @togalogs that`s right, but thinking this way very often an overtaking move was eased by a mistake from the other competitor or an overlapped car. remaining with Kimi you can also argue his great pass in Suzuka 2005 was possible cause Fisichella made a tactical mistake in approach zu the chicane protecting the inside line so Kimi could prepare a big exit on the ideal line and jumping ahead on the straight. I think that was still a brave overtaking move.

  • @togalogs how was it not genuine??? He was fighting for position, and forced mark into a mistake.

  • I remember this pass... It was great I wish we had a different angle though

  • @FRFM00 Well fuck you Webber is shit Kimi ROCKS enuff said

  • @Sonu03785 whilst raikkonen is crashing rally cars, webber is off fighting a world championship.

    kimi is an ungrateful cunt

  • @garethkielty

Kimi needs to do what he wants, he wants to rally and not driving all the same boring laps again!

  • No. He is better than the best.

  • @ZePivotMaster he is good but hes not an all time great

  • @ZePivotMaster nope. Alonso is by far the best. Outclasses Kimi in every way

  • @Psylonz well then tell me why Kimi has never been overtaken by alonso in his F1 career

  • Kimi The Best!!!
