I remember this one from back in the day. It's great to see it on You Tube! The follow up CD "Black Book" is a continuation of 3-D Life Style. Don't sleep on that one either!

1993. The only place you could see this when it came out was on the "Jukebox Network"...aka "The Box". I had my VCR ready and caught it. I have been playing the entire album "3-D Lifestyles" from front to back since '93. The whole joint is mind blowing. I even have the single CD of Gutterman which had like 5 different versions. This video used to put me in another realm: The dancing, the lyrics, the imagery, the sax and the BEATS!

I still play it front to back to this day. This video is so hard, the dancing, the lyrics, the imagery, the beats!! Brooklyn in the house.
I am digging on this vid. I love Greg Osby's spareness and sound that is almost soprano-like. He is also fluent like a mf. This is saying something, having been homeless myself. Yeh Greg!

The Black Book was a milestone. Likewise Gary Thomas at the time....let's not rule out Courtney Pine as well
