Haha! Comets have tails and are white colour and they have a blur to them. Meteor's in Meteor showers last less than a second so that's ruled out... My analysis, Chinese lanters, or what i used to do when i was a kid... Tie stuff to helium balloons, set it on fire and let it fly away... I'm from Scunthorpe, we got bored and it was fun...
i saw one near spar on scottor road. i always saw it on Monday after 9pm. but the it stopped coming, my friend said it was a helicopter but it sounded nothing like a helicopter and looked nothing like it to.
a comet OMG! u sereal its proberly chiness lanterns but in bathgate for the past 2 weeks their has been like 9 sightings of UFO's in the same place their were 8 UFO's out a pub last night lots of people were outside it was so freaky
Definitely not comets I can assure you. UFOs more like - there is a definite ufo flap going on over the north east UK even now. I'm not too far from you (Middlesbro) & I have lost count of the number of sightings I have had over the last 2 yrs, last sighting was about a month ago. I've videoed them once & photographed them dozens of times & have hundreds of high quality images of them. And altho it looks like fire it's not - more like some kind of plasma discharge which often surrounds them.
isnt it scary when u see something that is unidentified?? as you can here from the video me and my friend were so shocked at what it could be. I am glad some1 else has seen something like this. I also believe that there are other things out there, we dont get told cause no1 wants us to know anything these days. I dont blame them for not showing themselves, this world is a mess at the minute..lol
@lyndogg23 OMG. Where abouts in Scunthorpe was that? Because I seen something exactly the same over Bottesford. There were 3 of them they flew they appeared randomly flew a bit then just disappeared. Now that can't be called a chinese lantern because they appeared randomly
we were all amazed in what we saw if anyone else in the same area saw the same as us i would love to know. i believe we are not alone anyway but what i dont understand is that if their were other inteligence out there why dont we get told about it? and why dont they show themselves? and what are they waiting for?
i belive you lyndogg23 coz on saturday evening 3rd oct 2009 (yesterday evening) me and some relatives walked out my mums house around 10pm and my eight year old daughter noticed it first then we all looked and saw something similer to this it looked roundish but orangy red and was moving fast but it was ovbious that it wasnt no helicopter or plain there were people stopping their cars and getting a look
