  • Elders are always blaming the kids for the lose of our language. when you know its their own fault and our mother and fathers. They don't try to teach us blackfoot from the day we start talking. They are too scared... after our elders and our parents are gone it will be gone for ever!! instead they are selling the language for studys at the Lethbridge univ. for white people to learn... wouldnt it be cool to hear our babies to speak our blackfoot language to us??

  • @HatedByZionists Meat keeps us grounded. We must eat a bit of everything that Mother Earth provides. Meat, fruit, and vegetables, and in balance. I see the end coming for Processed 'Food' since it has little to no real nutritive value and has been laced with the most poisonous ingredients which do nothing short of stunting growth, altering DNA and lowering I.Q.

  • @HatedByZionists Tribal ways are that string Mate. We share these today in the same way whether from Grandma and Grandpa or at Pow Wows, Ceremonies etc. extra care and attention is paid to making sure deviations and twists are not part of the Narrative , at least within reason.

  • @bigcree Typo on Strong.

  • @HatedByZionists I have eaten both pure Buffalo and the Hybridized version. Both are very good eating.

  • didnt they use the atlatl

  • So beautiful... Humility Respect and Honor ... such Grand Qualities to inhabit ...thank you for the share bigcree :-)

  • @joe80dman , indeed that`s what the score is! We have grown up already three times to this Imbecilic little Troll, who suffers from some very serious Personal Issues and cognitive functions.

  • It's a pity that the tradition of oral storytelling has disappeared in many countries. It used to be wide-spread all over the world.

  • @blgghee : But, ... Have you ever tasted Buffalo steaks before?

  • @RU4freedom2 , sure is. Damned straight.

  • Thanks for taking time to send this to me bigcee,,and joe80dman i've never had Buffalo myself as we dont get that many in the UK lol but i've got to say it sounds very nice indeed

  • @RU4freedom2 the meat is to be cooked medium. It is delicious, and taste much like beef, only more succulent, sweet, and a bit more flavorful.

  • I find these videos fascinating.....thanks for sharing.

  • @girlznguitarz Big THANKS and respect to you over there and across the Pond! From Great Turtle Island! Ma` iit` So Kut!

  • @girlznguitarz aal to the good!

  • I find these videos fascinating.....thanks for sharing.

  • To all the 'Skins' who come and read the Comments here. Let`s note that even though we may not have the luxury of a Buffalo Hunt like the Old Ones did, we can begin to eat better. There are Rez`s where people are raising Bison again, in Montana, South and North Dakota, Nebraska, and even Colorado. Begin to share this delicious meat and incorporate it into our diets.

  • @bigcree

thanks you.. great interview , that hate people knowing the truth an d the past

  • @finefilth These are old stories that become Legend. And then manifest as life, useful and full of lesson, all people may benfit from if they apply it.

  • @bigcree It must take a real simpleton to think these old stories mean anything these days. They were tales to help people with hunting buffalo for meat and fur. UUUMMMM fur, har har har

  • @bigcree

all people will benefit? no wonder why they snuffed it out

  • "Moral Principle". This is also key. Dedication, sincerity and most of all Respect. The Old Ones demonstrated this 24/7, even to their Enemies. The whole of LIFE is Sacred, and even the taking of an animal for food is done with Reverence, regard and dignity.

  • The only TRUE way of keeping things real. Passing them on to our Young People. No compromise, no shortcuts. As it is said. "Keep it real".

  • I know one thing for certain, Buffalo steaks are delicious. I suggest to those who haven't tasted Buffalo to give it a try, that is if you're not a vegetarian. The traditions spoken of here haven't changed in hundreds of years, which fascinates me.

  • @joe80dman , My Grandad introduced me to Bison as a boy. I was about four!

  • @bigcree

    Thank you for sharing :))

These wonderful stories from our beloved ancestors..

are pure gold and should be preseved..

  • @YolandaGuadalupe , Big Thankyou my Dear!

  • Much Respect for these, who keep Traditions moving in such a reverent fashion. Never die. Socapi.

  • @bigcree These old memories transmitted orally are changed from generation to generation. Although they were a way for primitive people to pass history when they were unable to develop a written system they are as much a bundle of supersttions and mistruths as they are real history.

  • Wisdom from an elder: Still have to fulfill one of my bucket list items which is working on a Indian Reservation. Who knows could be just around the corner. : Lone Wolf.
