D1 just means large school. Normally there's more competition with larger schools but I think Cody Hutch would give Meys a run for his money.

there are no weak weight classes in wreslting, all of them are hard. And he is in 180 weight class and that is incredibly difficult and Austin Meys is an amazing wrestler
