Thank you very much for upload! DM are wonderful. btw-these special colored vinyl records are also by the U.K. group "erasure" (It Doesn´t Have To Be) and I think many more...Bye, lovely greetings from germany! --sorry my english :-)
Wow I didn't think I would ever hear or see that album again I lost it in 1987 bought it at tower records in hollywood I also had the black and white marble master and servants good job
I'm not sure, but at the time as People are people comes out, it comes in 7 different 12" versions. In 7 different colors! I have 3 other 12" versions on tape, recorded from radio at people are people hits the charts.
Hi my friend, soupnmusic here, locked out of (my) this account. Just like to mention that your correct, there were 7 different colors, but for many different artists. “Intercord Tonträger GmbH” in Germany (partner with Mute UK), ordered about 300k multi-color discs in 1982, in about 5 different spackled colors. They pressed one stack at a time, starting in 1982 with Edo Zanki (Multi Green) – 1985, David Knopfler (Multi-Blue). Hope to return. Thanks for watching.
ps: Strange that your Mute trippy vinyl had the exact same pic sleeve as my normal Sire USA 12"..... wonder if I passed right over the same import for the US single to save a buck or two back in the day?
Hello, It’s been my buying experience in the 80’s that if a record label like MUTE/SIRE released an U.S. 12” Single, chances are, there were no imports of the same single available to purchase here in the U.S. Most U.S. record stores buy at discounts locally. You would have to special order this one overseas back then. Thank you so much for looking
I had this mix (on regular vinyl) on my US 12"...... ahhh, to have all the vinyl back that I hocked during my college years! Thanks for the upload, the eye candy vinyl, and it's nice to see a good old fashion 1200 with the pitch control and "club light" for the needle drop :)
I love this version it is Fuuunnnnnnkkkkkky! Tjam*
