I kind of wish I'd watched this video before I got my first doll. He's a D.I.M and I love him to death but his body!!!! OTL I've re-strung him about 4 times now and he's better but that annoying back-joint has just put me off the company.

about the paint, tattos I paint warhammer figures and I read somewhere that you can put a clear protectave coat on them using something, something wood protection stuff you use to protect wood finishes. I know it's safe for warhammer figures but I don't know if it will effect the joints on the dolls or not.
I've got a question about the SG guy's body... Well, on the soom website, it's told that he's 65 cm tall. but even with the human legs he looks some taller on most customers photos to me...
is it a kind of an mistake? XDDD Or do i'm just that paranoid? o.o

I have a doll I am planning on getting for Christmas but didn't realize how truly big she is, the website tells that she is 80cm in height and I am worried about having to dress her in different clothing cause I want to customize her badly but if there are not many clothing then I probably won't be able to get her until later. What do you suggest? :(

I am actually getting a 68-70cm doll and make my own clothes for her based off the size of some of her other clothes that I already purchased.

@JynksTHE1nonly: Pretty much all of the companies that carry them only have them available to limited time/quantity. Dream of Doll has some every once in a while, you just have to keep your eyes out. The only company I know of that always have them available is Bobobie/resinsoul.
They both have very similar looks. So it comes down to finer details, such as do you like fuller, thicker lips? Then get Soony. Do you like more rounded eyes? Then get Sandra. If, after some close comparison, you still can't decide you might want to go based on price. Good Luck! ^__^

you know something strange? my boyfriend was the one whom descovered these for me originally we found pullip dolls last year on ebay of my melody, whom i collect alot of merchandise for so i was like must have, then i found out more about Ball joint dolls, and he descovered ringdolls, so now I really want those as well! but they are so expensive T_T he never had toys as a kid, so he loves them and we cant wait to play dolls together but, its going to be awhile...
