@Yogazies it is 100% discrete. there is a port cover that also covers when there is a card in it.

Thanks for the video, I was looking for a good reason to buy a 240GB sdd for my Toshiba NB550d, it has the same Hudon M1 chipset. You should run the test again after upgrading to 4GB of DDR3.

@R3DLIN3S and i read there fits MMC, SD (Secure Digital), SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity), but whats the max GB? on the site of acer or other sites where i can buy im they dont tell you whats te max, cause some devices do have a maximum capacity

@Nigelsarmo yes some devices do have a max. I have checked over 15 sites and I cannot find any documentation on this. Does anyone know anything on this? The biggest card I have put in mine is two 4gb cards.

@R3DLIN3S I've been reading a few places that suggest the new SDXC cards are also supported, which means today you could get a 64gb card or maybe 128gb, and in the future perhaps much more than that. It's also supposedly possible to upgrade the internal ssd to a larger one, if you don't mind opening the tablet up and probably voiding your warranty.

You say you have 2 separate SD slots? I was only aware of one? Where is the second one?

@Nigelsarmo with just the OS there is about 18gb left. There is also an SD card slot so you can well over double what space you have in cards alone.

@R3DLIN3S i found a deal who gives you an Iconia W500 with an 32 gb card so i gues you can double/triple the capacity... btw: i didnt know there where 2 slots, i thaugt 1 slot for diffrent kindda cards

@THKCxStudios the A500 to put it simply has cell phone hardware backing it. Arm Processor and tegra 2 video card. the hardware on the W500 is a lot a lot better.
