trust me there is nothing to be excited about!!!! ive been a MP, the hours suck, you work the holidays, dont get 4 day weekends, if you want to be high speed, go infantry.

@nationalguard When you start off, does it matter what type of physical training and conditioning you already have, or is it just a head start in fitness?

When enlisting, you must meet our height and weight requirements to be eligible. Asides from that, it's certainly a head start in your physical conditioning. Another thing to keep in mind is, being mentally fit is just as important.

So I am thinking about joining the National Guard and if I do I want to be part of the Military Police. Can any MPs out there tell me what ait is going to be like? Is it harder than bct? What is deployment going to be like for MP? (the more detail the better)

I've read the comments and watched videos but I'm hoping to gets some answers from current MPs. BTW, I'm going to post this question on other videos too so if you see it again thats why. Thanks

@205whiteboy honestly as far as the deployments go it depends on your unit

Yes it's the same training. No you don't get a break. Don't expect to do a lot of Law Enforcement, MP's deploy like crazy. Learn everything you can but don't plan on working the road a lot while your your wearing green. Deployment is actually better. Combat units are in my opinion better and better for your carrer. One last thing, 787 kicks ass!
