Heres a stupid question: if im lifting heavy for 8-12 reps how is it possible for me to rest for only 15-20 sec and still put up 8-10 reps. Thats not enough time to have an effective set.

I'm currently doing 80 minute sessions of working out per day. Is it effective if I warm up, then do 10 minutes of high intensity interval training like ski steps, then do 10 minutes of weight training using as many muscle groups as possible and lastly just repeating steps 1 and 2. I do this in the morning before breakfast, but I have a banana and some water just in case. And then again in the evening before going to sleep...
So hes basicually saying torture yourself by doing like 20 sit ups then rest 20 secounds and keep doing that or do a different exercise right after lol

Thanks for the advice. I'm 17 (short and average weight) and have been doing intense work outs for only 1 week and can notice a big difference. Especially on my arms :) It's only a matter of time before my abs come out.
