  • The rhythm guitarist is Earl White, who also played fiddle for them at times. He still plays fiddle each Saturday night for the Grand Ole Opry Square Dancers--the last Opry performer who was a member of the Crook Brothers, the last surviving original members.

  • This here's proof, why Jean Shepard, is the greatest female country singer of all-time!

  • I'm pretty sure the big guy playing rhythm guitar is Billy Walker

  • @Crossford100 Hmm... there's a resemblance I suppose.

  • You know If you listen carefully to the words of the songs both Jean and her husband Hawkshaw hawkins sings they are so prophetic--considering what lay down the road for them. Jean lost her hubby Hawkshaw In the plane crash that killed Patsy Cline.

  • It's to bad we don't have T.V. today.

  • Tommy Jackson and Don Helms are gimmes. Who's the big guy playing rhythm guitar? Who's the guy playing electric guitar? What about the bass player? I believe I've seen the electric guitar player in Bill Monroe's band from this era.

  • @William1Rabe Jackie Phelps (one of the "Eefin' guys" on Hee Haw) is playing electric guitar.

  • ONE of the best REAL country singers, they dont make them like her ,that voice,so clear ,so melodic,so enchanting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tommy Jackson, Don Helms among others.

  • If only I'd joined the Wacs, I might have the right job today. :(

  • Love this lady - I understand she is still alive?

  • @pyrofella yes she's 78 and still performing
