  • I HATE THOSE FRICKING COMMERCIALS MEN!!!!!!!!! WHY DO PEOPLE DO THAT?

  • I need it for my assignment, thanks :)

  • Good Stuff, Thx for the video !

  • I'd give this milf a pickle

  • @Sporadicus1 Classy Sir

  • take the finger from the mic, fou!

  • @creamsodaistasty It's he video titled: How To Make Kombucha Tea : How to Mix Dried Fruit with Kombucha Teas

  • @SimplyZeal ty

  • @creamsodaistasty - If you an't find it let me know and i will try to send you the link.

  • @creamsodaistasty - You might want to watch the rest of the series. Ths is only one step. You will make a green tea and sugar mixture. Then you add the scoby and the liquid from the bowl and let it sit for a week. I jsut made some and it is delish.

  • @mrgordylks - yes. It's fermented.

  • after eating one of these im usually sitting around all day, but nobody belives me, i just let my mother pray,.......SUGAAAAA

  • What's up with all the cheesy advertisements.... Lame

  • Srsly though, great vid. I'm about to head out to find some of this stuff so i can try my own. Thanks for the info! ~pickles!~

  • Hit 6 over and over once it loads LOL

  • They're real and they're spectacular. thanks very much.

  • breast implants

  • @warlockboyburns Douche

  • Can you eat the kombucha mushroom? Have you ever eaten it, is so how does it taste and how do you feel afterwards.

  • @ace7953 I bet you could eat it but I imagine it would be similar to eating a placenta.

  • is it me or when she pulls it out of the jar and says ''and heres our baby'' am i the only person who finds it unappetizing?

  • @Xennia2493 i was gona say something but idk lol

  • can i make it only using kombucha tea bags to grow a mother?

  • what does this taste like? seems like it would taste like balls.

  • @KidMilly

some people don't like it, i myself like the taste of the tea. it has a sourish, slight sweet, soda water flavor. it's also naturally carbonated.

  • god I wanted to try that "tea" no more :D

  • does anyone know if you can you two scobys from different batches and put them into one bigger batch so that it'll ferment quicker? has anyone ever heard of that?

  • can honey or organic maple syrup be used instead?

  • @whyyknott1 honey won't work. I am using cane sugar, but my knowledge of brewing/fermenting tells me to use corn sugar.

  • @electricsausageparty

WHAT pray, tell, is CORN SUGAR!?

  • Your an idiot. "If the sugar caramelizes it can be harful" ????

  • @BrokenRRT she could mean that it's harmful to the process of making kombucha. Or harmful to her own interest since it would "stick to the bottom" of her pot.

  • definitely not enough info

  • ok you showed us kumbucha tea, HOW DID YOU MAKE IT,???? useless video

  • @positivesecret

look into buying a bottle of wonder drink to make your mother. it should take about a month to get results though....otherwise look at freecycle for a mother. hope that helps.

  • Um, I see nothing but words...

  • thankyou :)

  • Um...How am I suppose to watch this video when the words are plastered in front of the screen?

  • @bagman4175 The close captioning is optional and can be turned off. Simply click on the arrow at the lower right hand corner of the screen and then click on CC. Hope that helped.

  • @DanDenali Oh, ok. Thank you, I did not know that. :-)

  • I cant wait to start this! It's kind of intimidating, to say the least, lol

  • @flamerabbit1987 Did you start?? How's it going?

  • @kombuchakamp Hello! My interest hasn't gone away! It just so happens there's a recall on the already made Kombucha, so the fire's really lit to get started! But I haven't yet because I need a bottle of pre-made :( Bad timing

  • @flamerabbit1987

the recall is because of alcohol created in the bottles, like when its sitting on shelves.

  • @4timmycallum4 Why?

  • There's not good evidence that Kombucha tea delivers on its health claims. At the same time, several cases of harm have been reported. Therefore, until definitive studies quantify the risks and benefits of Kombucha tea, it's prudent to avoid it.

  • @justintrayford The evidence has remained in the anecdotal realm because pharma won't pay for clinical trials on something it can't patent. Since Kombucha is found in nature, you can't patent it.

  • @kombuchakamp You know..I hear/read that often but found loads of research at GAIA RESEARCH site; some of the research dates back as far as 1913! You are so right about BIG PHARMA!!

  • is the debree on the bottom of a commercial kombucha bottle? fungus wich i can start a bach from?

  • @chingchong54 That debris is usually yeast strings - if you mean the snot glob, then yes, you can grow a culture from that, though I'd recommend only doing so from an original, unflavored Kombucha

  • use green tea, NOT black... black tea has a high acididity level. and use that sweet stuff from birch trees... (somebody will know what i am talking aboot hehe, i forget what it is called) stevia i think?... btw, listen to the song sugar, by system of a down! hehe

  • @wizardesque Every kombucha recipe i've read says must use black tea at least a few, and it must be acidic. Also always use sugar never honey or stevia. I don't know where you got your info.

  • @wizardesque You can't use stevia because it doesn't ferment and only causes mold

  • White sugar is poison.

  • @tangopoder The sugar isn't for you - its for the culture - it uses it as fuel and transforms it into healthy amino acids

  • you love pickles BECAUSE YOUR FAT

  • How exactly is caramelized sugar harmful?

  • How does the scooby get so big?

  • Can I substitute an herbal tea (caffeine free)?

    Nice vids.

  • @ponkkaa It is not recommended to use herbal teas. What you CAN do is when the Kombucha is ready to drink, make fresh hearbal tea, LET IT COOL to room temp, and add a bit to your Kombucha to give it a bit of different flavor. I have done that and my kids love it! Search on the net for more info on what type of teas work for Kombucha. You don't want to kill the beneficial bacteria by using the wrong tea. Usually the safast are green tea, ceylon (black tea) and some chinese teas work well. GBY!

  • do I have to add sugar?

  • yes, that's what the bacteria and yeast feeds on. There isn't much sugar left over when it's done.

  • This is one of the worst methods i have ever seen to make Kombucha. From boiling the water, to the different types of sugar or sweeteners this lady suggest using. Sincerely, Kombucha King....

  • Do you have to add the kombucha to tea? Does the kombucha ever go off?

  • How do you start/obtain the mother (culture)

  • if you havent recieved a response already........the mother culture can be made when buy raw kombutcha at the store....half tea/sugar mixture with half store bought kombutcha...sit at room temp.....culture disc should form in a week or so....it will be very transparent, so really pay attention. Your patienve will be rewarded. Some brands of store bought kombutcha have little mini disks at the bottom of the bottle already...thats how i got mine.......PS. The cultures are like kids....name them!!!

  • I get a strong buzz from Kombucha. Just drank half a glass of week old mate/brown indian sugar base liquid, and I feel fantastic.

Love Kombucha, beautiful pile of bacteria and yeast!

  • Does anyone else get a really good buzz from this stuff, or is it just me???

  • I do...I was surprised when it happened. Not a solid buzz but "something" for sure.

  • I purchase the Synergy Kombucha which is uber-expensive. How would you flavor this if you wanted? Any advice?

  • add fruit juice to the kombucha once it has finished brewing. You could put bits of lemon or ginger as well. Have fun with it. I even tried fermenting mine with olive oil in hopes of creating some sort of elixir of life.

  • again Thanks! She is good. Going to look for more.

  • Help! I started a kombucha tea last week, and when I looked at it today, it is all brown, and the tea is still sweet. I think I killed it! I was so looking forward to making it.
