  • That guy was dropping like a goddamn stone!!!

  • that was such a terrible pun at the beginning

  • it wasnt from the top.. trollolol.. still pretty cool though

  • Yeah right .. a minute and a half -.- ... He maybe had like 20 seconds of freefall you jerks !

  • a minute and a half free fall? maybe in the elavator, but not for the jump. Don't know whose ass they pulled that number out of.

  • Imagine if forget to activate the parachute..

  • @z00dpam

Imagine you forget to breathe .. same result.

  • @coolfrog274 aaa piss off with you'r chuck norris he got no balls for a sky dive => and not for a base jump than base jump is the dangerest sport in the world but... because of this it make soooo much fun!!!!!

  • fuckin gnarly shits ballsy

  • a minute and half you won't make even with a wingsuit from that distance from the ground. they felt for about 15 sec.

  • its so easy to do this stuff

    (in gta)

  • epic meal time music :D

  • if i were to jump,i will land in the pool

  • @paulhickinson

I love how people can act so brave behind a computer screen...

  • Get me a ticket to bubai and i will pussy

  • @paulhickinson I doubt you.

  • jumping down there saves you a lot of precious life time if you're on top of the building and notice you left your cell phone in the car.......

  • the pussies didnt jump from the top ??

  • @paulhickinson if you call them pussies why don't you do it then?

  • It took one minute and a falf to get down? Jesus, how tall is this building?!

  • just like San Andreas

  • thats more like skydiving lol

  • I love the EPIC MEAL TIME music at the background

  • I tried to jump like that out of my house. It sucks, my house is 6m high, parachute didn't work, I broke spine and legs. Whatever. [*]

  • THAT IS FUCKING AWESOME -- I Wanna try!!!

  • its actually 818 metres but still who the hell does that id die before id get up to the top

  • nice :D

  • Yep, definitely would have shit my fucking panties here.

  • dude, epic meal time soundtrack FTW!!!

  • HAHAHAHAH i bet spider man wouldnt climb up that

  • do not try this at home...

  • @hugo12212 some guys at the wallstreet will jump in the future

  • OU MAI GAD:))))))

  • Wow that's so wrong, this fall is just a few seconds. When you jump from 10,000feet it's barely a minute. Reporter fail

  • epic meal time music

  • LOL So he's going over 100 miles an hour for a minute and a half? Somehow I don't think that's right

  • Not only dangerous but illegal in most places :P

  • What if their chute's have a malfunction?? They haven't got time for a reserve!! :S

  • He didn't jump of the tip top so it was not as cool

  • allready been done illegally off the balcony in another video which was much cooler

  • lol epic meal time

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • They are CRAZY. Nice video.

  • Window Cleaner: Ah! Two weeks of window cleaning paid off!

    *SANDSTORM*

    Windown Cleaner DX:(!

  • jump off a plane when your like 37000 ft. in the air

  • BALLS OF FUCKING STEEL NO WAIT GOLD!

  • No thanks... Lol

  • Wiz Khalifa lol

  • if terminal velocity is 120mph, how come the commentator said the jumpers were going 136 mph. am i right in thinking terminal velocity means maximum speed of freefall?!?

  • why dont you go all the way to the top?

  • @chopperooo1 Yep. they punked out lol

  • @chopperooo1 because they would have hit the side and died

  • A MINUTE AND A HALF SERIOUS?! Thats heaps long!!!

  • i'd die of fright before i hit the ground.

  • this building is so tall and so beautiful

  • i knew it sooner or later some asshole was gonna do this ...smh

  • Burj Khalifa was built by South Korea's Samsung Corporation.

  • if you lived on the top floor of that it would be an idea to keep a parachute for emergency escapes. why the hell not. i don't become bound by others

  • haha BBC suck my dick. in 1960 someone travelled to the edge of space and jumped. took him 15 minutes to reach the floor, and he gained speeds of 1000 kilometres per hour, so shut the fuck up indian faggots.

  • @lildude1717 That's not even possible. First of all because of the gravity and accerelation can't rise forever that's why 1000 km/h isn't even possible to reach because the terminal velocity is 120 mph (= 193 kph). Also the jumper would burn on the way to the ground. And actually there's no edge of space unfortunately because the space could start up from mesosphere or from thermosphere anyway what you just said were totally BULLSHIT.

  • @xeroxFIN

Your wrong. In high altitudes, the drag is much less. And in the 1960's, a guy jumped from a hot air balloon from 60 km up(I dont remember the exact height), litteraly space. He travelled with about 1000 kph, when he was going at the fastest. The video is here on youtube. It was a military test.

  • @jakobpind ah yes sorry, that's because the air was so thin so the speed gathered over the sonic speed but when he came down the speed started to slow down when the air started to become tighter to about 200 km/h.

  • @jakobpind you own dude :D! told you it was true :D!

  • @xeroxFIN Hmm Unfortunetly it is true.

  • @lildude1717 I know, learn to read comments below :)

  • @xeroxFIN Wow your so wrong. First space starts at 100 kms up ask NASA. Also he jumped from an altitude of around 102,000 feet. At that altitude there is little to no air so no air friction. So he did infact reach 990km/h before pulling his chute at 14,000 feet. He pulled his chute at about the altitude most skydivers jump from. Even at an altitude of 14,000 feet you can still surpass terminal velocity by changing your body shape and going even further to using special suits to funnel air.

  • @b4igetu You're wrong. There is no actual limit where does it start IMMEDIATELY after you've passed the line and I know that he surpassed the terminal velocity because the air comes more tighter and tighter when you come up. Like I said in my last comment...

  • @xeroxFIN No No you are the one that is wrong. NASA you know the people that have the space shuttles, and go into space have agreed that the point at which space starts is 100kms above the earths surface. Look it up instead of thinking you know everything.

  • @b4igetu How am I wrong? There's no way to set exact limit where the space will start. It could start from 100 km or 240 km but usually we say that it starts from 100km ->

  • @xeroxFIN It is agreed upon the the space agencies around the world that space starts at 100kms up. You are not in space until you hit what is called the Kármán line which is 100kms up. At this point aeronautics is no longer possible and you have to be going faster then orbital velocity in order to to have enough lift in order for the craft to support itself.

  • @b4igetu Right...

  • @xeroxFIN You are clearly thinking your all knowing and have not taken 3 seconds out of your egotistical life to make a quick google search to look it up for yourself. Fine you are the one who looks like an idiot.

  • @b4igetu I'm not all knowing and I know the space will start immediately when athmosphere end... but I thought that its 100 km-240 km up and not exactly 100.00000000000.... km as you're saying.

  • @b4igetu Because you said it starts from 100 km that means it exactly starts from 100 km not 100.00001 km or 99.99999 km :)

  • @lildude1717 Dude... This is clearly a base jump... That means that the person jumped off either the ground or something that is touching the ground... What that guy that you are talking about did was jump out of a special hot air balloon almost completley out in space... When you jump out of something that isn't attached to the ground, it's called skydiving... So shut the fuck up you homophobic, racist motherfucker.

  • These people werent the first to jump from this building. During the construction of the building a French person named Herve Le Gallou and a unknown British man took the stairs to the 160th floor before the top windows were applied to the building and jumped together. You can see their interview on one of currents videos plus video from their helmet cameras during the jump.

  • Sucks to be window cleaning guy....

  • @xeroxFIN Imagine only one janitor for this fucking building...

  • @AJBond916 there probably wont even be a janitor and the janitor will probably be a monkey if there was one that would be dumb enough to want the job

  • i did the same jump, free fall for just over 3 hours and landed in cairo.............

  • i did the same jump, free fall for just over 3 hours and landed in cairo.

  • i did the same jump, free fall for just over 3 hours and landed in cairo

  • Testicles. that is all.

  • Man you need balls as big as the parachutes the base jumpers used :D

  • Dubai is so amazing!

  • No way no how they plummeted for a minute and a half lol. Mayyyybbbeeee with their parachute open. LIES!

  • HAHAHA, is it just me or is this news station using VideoCopilots "Pro Scores"?

Maybe it's just similar... or I'm retarded.

  • I should do this on my bike.

  • this actually is less dangerous than jumping from a lower structure, because you have more time to stabilise and open your chute. the timings are bollocks though, as many have noted.

  • haha i live in burj khalifa ;DD

  • @classicjuice u wished u lived in burj khalida

  • @kiatukichafu

except i live there, so theres nothing to wish for

  • wtc jumpers fell 150 mph DAMN

  • Legal base suxxx ...

  • Someone should do a 9/11 type of stunt on this mothafucka

  • wtf minute and a half free fall? its like 20 seconds, but not more then that. learn to count :)

  • A minute in a half, You could make a sandwich in that time!

  • it was already jumped by 2 british jumpers -- and the freefall is more like 15-20 seconds

  • that first guys is clearly not a BASE jumper..., he is using a regular skydiving rig, and a student type altimeter and he is not tracking properly..

  • damn cool hoever they dont actually jump off at 828m. thats the top of the spire with is impossible. i think they jump at 160th story. still crazy though...

  • That took real guts. I know because some of my colleagues did something similar for the Intel Bass Jump.

  • Do you guys always have to add the dramatic music as if this is batman?

  • about the craziest thingI think I've ever seen! How many of you pulled away from the screen thinking you were going with him when the first guy jumped?! lol

  • apparently 2 ppl didn't make it to the ground smh :/

  • These guys did it first, search for the video on youtube.

Title: World Record BASE Jump: VC2

  • LMAO at the very end he giggles

  • 1 communist disliked this video.

  • did he hit that truck at the end lol?

  • Sorry, one was French and the other English!! (Not German) Incredible!

  • Sorry, one was French and the other English!! (Not German) Incredible jump!!

  • The two guys who did it while it was being built were German. They pretended to be workers and had a getaway car waiting to save them being arrested. I'm going up there tonight but using the lift!!!

  • 1:30 free fall, what a clown, and it was not record breaking, two people did it while it was under construction, much before this video was made.

  • holy crap O_O

  • Nope!!, I'm Cooool!!.....I wouldn't do it for $99,900,000

  • it can't have been 90 secs

  • man i like the vid of the guys doing it illegally way more intense these guys stole the idea from the guys befor them go come up with ur own stunt... unless these are the same guys

  • 2 arab guys jumping off:woooo yeahhhhhh!!!!!

halfway down guy 1 shouts: DID U REMEMBER THE PARACHUTE!?!?!?!?!?

    guy 2:YAHH I GOT EM..OH WAIT...OH SHIT

  • Holy shit!

  • These 2 Arab guys are so crazy

  • Why is there an HD option when the source video is clearly not in HD... its barely in 480p... Upscaling video like this won't improve the quality and its so annoying when ur looking for HD content...

  • Woow!!

  • pretty sick over the last 10yrs of some lame TV presenter talking shit over something worth being done, fuckers. red bull so fucking what blah blah been skating all my life snowboarding, mountain biking rock climbing, blah fucking mtv blah

  • They are NOT freefalling for a minute and a half. Probably more like 8 seconds before deploying their parachutes.

  • @karadan100 it's more than 8 seconds. just watching the video proves that. They're clearly seen falling for longer than that.

  • @Hirotoro4692 Actually, 8 seconds is probably very spot on. I know what freefall acceleration is and i know what terminal velocity is. As i know the height of the building in meters, it was actually very easy to calculate the 8 second figure (accounting for chute deployment of course - which they would have done with roughly 200m to go).

  • @karadan100 very few jumpers actually reach terminal velocity though

and yeah watch the video and count to 8 from the start of the jump. It doesn't look edited. Surely its more like 12 seconds.

  • @Hirotoro4692 Of course they do. terminal velocity is simply where a falling object stops accelerating. The terminal velocity of a skydiver is about 124 mph (200 kph). It takes less than 5 seconds to reach this speed because freefall acceleration is 10m/s squared.

  • Comment removed

  • @karadan100 if you say so but i did asearch and its apparently 9.80665 (to be precise) m/s squared. :) But does this formula account for mass, drag and resistance? Surely they would cause acceleration to take longer. it sounds to me like you gave me the formula for calculating acceleration under earth's gravity sans other variables.

There's a good article on google titled How high do you have to be to reach terminal velocity? the maths in it sound more complicated than yours :O

  • @Hirotoro4692 Hehe, sure. 10 is easier to work with seeing as the number you provided changes depending on where you are (gravitational attraction is not constant across the globe - in some places, acceleration is higher than 10 m/s2. The disparity would not make much difference to the outcome even with air resistance taken into account. It would be worth taking into account across an entire sky dive from 60 thousand feet, however.

  • @Hirotoro4692 dont u need to know the wind conditions, and their body types/weight to add to that? :O

  • base jumping is by far the coolest

  • Holy crap!!!! How about, ummm, NO? lol

  • I don´t get it. Doesnt base jumping get easier, the higher the building is??

  • hmmm... think this news reporter needs to get his facts right... free fall for 1min 30secs! wtf! I jump at 15000ft and pull at around 5000ft, thats a fall of about 3000m, and thats around 50-60 seconds of freefall!

  • Newtons Law of motion A body of mass m subject to a force F undergoes an acceleration a that has the same direction as the force and a magnitude that is directly proportional to the force and inversely proportional to the mass,In other words it takes time to reach a terminal velocity and jumping off a 1000 ft building the person will not reach terminal velocity (120mph) and likewise jumping off the Burj Khalifa tower that person will only reach terminal velocity just before they hit the ground

  • @PalladiumTV

It's still not correct, it was a 2200 foot jump basically, that's max maybe 10-14 seconds of freefall with a decent base chute.

  • @PalladiumTV bet the reporter said they were going at 136 mph thats over terminal velocity

  • @PalladiumTV your still not gonna free fall for any longer then 30 seconds from 2,700 feet....let alone a minute, yea fuckin right

  • @PalladiumTV : That would apply to a free falling body in a vacuum; here force of friction is opposite to the fall plus wind velocity and coefficient of friction for clothing need to be considered.

Who cares about about t/velocity; important thing is safe landing in the parking lot - skill !

  • @PalladiumTV

Use common sense: a object dropped from 1000ft cannot possibly free fall longer than if it was dropped from 3000 feet. Disguising your argument with physics definitions is pointless. In fact, you haven't even made an argument - all you did was summarize a section in a physics textbook. Everything in your response is true, but it does not counter what Blaggsta said - in fact, if you crunch the numbers you'd supporting his claim that the report has made a mistake.

  • @PalladiumTV The 2 men jumped from the 160th Floor which was 672 metres from the ground. Now let us remember that the 800 meter running record is 1 minute and 41 seconds. The average terminal velocity of a skydiver in a belly to earth free-fall position is about 122mph (55 metres per second). 50% Terminal Velocity is reached within 3 seconds, 90% in 8 seconds and 99% in 15 seconds. It`s clearly evident mathematically and from looking at the video that they didn`t free fall for 90 seconds.

  • @PalladiumTV It shouldn't matter if you jump from a plane or a building, you reach terminal at the same time. Usually around 1000ft, and 10 seconds.

  • @PalladiumTV That has nothing to do with what @Blaggsta said. I think a more appropriate response would be something lie this: "I think the TV reporter included the time flying with the canopy open."

  • @gizmoguyar Correct and the reporter was right..I rest my case.

  • @PalladiumTV science is great :DDDD

  • @Blaggsta its including time under the cute

  • @Blaggsta if they have the wing suits, they can get MUCH more

  • @Blaggsta The rate of accelation from the force of gravity is 9.8m/s^2. now u know

  • @Blaggsta You are right, there is no way based on sensible calculations of terminal velocity that they could have free fell for 90 seconds. They jumped from 672 meters off the ground. The world record for 800 meter track running is 1 minute and 41 seconds, that runner covered 672 meters within the first 85 seconds of his run. Their Terminal Velocity would have been about 55 metres a second, 50% of that velocity would have been reached within 3 seconds of them jumping, 90% within 8 seconds.

  • @Blaggsta he meant the entire trip

  • @Blaggsta Just wanted to let you know i fucked your dad.

  • hmmm... think this news reporter needs to get his facts right... free fall for 1min 30secs! wtf! I jump at 15000ft and pull at around 5000ft, thats a fall of about 3000m, and thats around 50-60 seconds of freefall!

  • why pull the laundry at 5000 feet? why not wait until about 1,000 feet?

  • @TIGERSDFW if something goes wrong and you try to pull at 1000 ft, you'll only have a couple seconds to pull the backup

  • Looks like the UAE has got more freedom than the so-called 'land of the free home of the brave.' You'd never be allowed to do this from a US building.

  • There where 2 guys who did it before the building was finished. Illegally

  • Parachutes are for girls. :P

  • Go to my cannel and watch my lame videos they suck

  • wow 208 floors

  • This wpulf be a perfect way to face my fear of heights :)

  • Doing this would be a perfect way to face my fear of heights :)

  • I did this without a parachute and survived because I did a roll at the end to break my fall, but I forgot to get someone to record it, sorry D:

  • the second guy had a better form

  • EEEFFF thattttt.

  • My uncle is astronaut and he base jumped of international space station.

  • @skaman171 ...how?
