  • SHABORAHBODAMBO BAM BAM PAM DAM NAM

    OGHHHHH!

  • Fans of the really raw tribal stuff might like "Rosetta West - Low." Not as rockin' as this - more of a heavy trance - but definitely related.

  • LOL, "Pink" is shitty as hell.

  • @tallswede80 Agreed.

  • Facebook is the TV Eye we all have on each other. This is a prophecy

  • Man,saxophones kick so much ass.

  • love the bass

  • um....the doors? sorta

  • @saltybrah From one Salt to another, yes, it is similar. I love both bands...psych. rock and proto punk hit my g-spot.

  • @saltjunkie77 haha mate my last name has salt in it !

  • @saltybrah This tune, yes, but i wouldn't say that The Stooges and The Doors are similar throughout their works...not at all.

  • @saltjunkie77 hahaha yer they're nothing alike.. just this song

  • Holy fuck, the sound is so fuckin amazingly dirty. :)

  • OOOOOooowa!

  • EV-RAYY LITTLE BAY-BAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! Fuck ev-rayy one, the Stooges are the shit. CHOICE.

  • Damn, listen to that guitar screeching at the end, at 7:36. Its like the guitar just jizzed. LOL

  • i'm into punk. which of the stooges albums should i pick?? I think raw power really fits me well but i really liked "No Fun" in their first album as well....

  • @pfl95 buy them all you wont be sorry

  • @pfl95 theyre all great but the first gives off more of a punk vibe especially the songs no fun , i wanna be your dog and real cool time

  • This is my favourite stooges song, I gotta learn how to play this, Ron is a legend

  • hold me TAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT.....Love this song,..the build up, the sax, has it all.

!!hes the grand daddy of punk!!!

  • @bowiemars Gang of four, the sex pistols, The Clash, Television, The buzzcocks, The minutemen, Fugazi, Wire, Magazine and many more, Why would you wanna pick? enjoy them all it's not a contest to see who is better its all here for are entertainment, better does not exist in music.

  • @tacosaucemafia iggy and the stooges the best of rock and roll

  • @bowiemars This is so much better than everything.

  • amazing pre punk..... this is where it all started

  • This is bloody exciting... Pure animal vibrations, it makes your body shake and brings your animal instinct out...

  • best song ever!!...i want to destroy all!!

  • Thank you James Williamson. You were the best Punk of all.

  • @jerste

    James wasn't on this album.

  • @Grizzlism RIP RON ASHETON

  • Satan's strip club sounds like this. This is exactly what Tarantino should have used in "Dusk Till Dawn"

  • If this doesn't make you dance than what can!!!!

  • One of the best tracks I have ever heard in my entire fuckin' life!

  • @xxjerseygirl95xx That's saxophone. This was when they recruited Steve Mackay into the band.

  • @DrInsideOutOreo oh sax. lol. i get confused with instruments. i kinda suck. thanks.

  • sounds like a poot at the beginning.

i've noticed there's a lot of trumpet in this album.

  • this is every insane friday night that turned into a saturday afternoon crashing on a stranger's couch.

  • hes all mine

  • I discovered this album last week.since then ive been smoking the best ganj, drinking the finest beer, and freaking out on this song and this album. it just blows my mind on the most primitive subconscious level and stays rewarding no matter how much i listen to it. iggy howls with confidence and joy, while the band rides that energy, and then it bounces back onto iggy, and its a perpetum mobile.im surprised they haven't used steve on all the songs. he completes their sound.

  • I love this album

  • fuck jim morrison looser, hes deaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • @bowiemars You, dear sir, are correct!!

  • Nirvana didn't rip off anyone. Kurt was just jocked off among other bands the jesus lizard and the pixies. He channeled it through his bitchin tunes. Why does everyone have to compare bands when they watch a youtube video? just enjoy the music for what it is

  • Un album epico!!!...ma per pochi intimi..e va bene cosi!..I feel all rightt!!!FUN HOUSE!

  • @Bulgakov73 Per pochi intimi infatti! E siamo i soli a commentare nella nostra lingua. yeah, fun house boy will steal your heart away...

  • @troubamour Hey ci sono anch'io! Che energia questa miusek, molto cool.

  • @imspup grande musica...

  • Comment removed

  • check out the band the murder city devils there album thelma sounds like this and there new too

  • I think the main difference between the doors and the stooges is jim morrison wrote poetry. he wasnt just a fuckin badass. He was an insane fuckin poet. His lyrics really touch me, a lot more then iggys.

  • @PinkFloyd806 I always thought Morrison was overrated as a lyricist. He's good at setting the mood to a song though. Lyrically he's no Bob Dylan, or Lou Reed at his best.

  • @donnyv78 I agree. Jim Morrison's lyrics sound good until you actually try to understand the lyrics, and then you realize that they're just drunken, drug-induced rambling. I think The Doors are a great band because of the other band members, and Jim Morrison's voice, but not his lyrics.

  • @topraman519 you just don't understand the meaning and the beauty of his lyrics wich is understandable

  • "Ride the snake, ride the snake .

To the lake, the ancient lake, baby.

The snake is long, seven miles .

Ride the snake . . . He's old, and his skin is cold."

    -Morrison

    He ain't exactly Lord Byron.

  • Odlot!

  • INcredible like Hendrix Gloria with a splash of Doors same with a pinch of Soft Parade and a whole lotta energy. Fucking Brilliant

  • Iggy was a maniacal Jim Morrison but with tons more free expression. He would do anything to freak you out, which is why this song remains utterly groovy.

  • guitar players. this is bullshit in the studio. iggy was trying. god bless any singer/vocalist. but here is the deal, this was studio outtake. and, it got printed. that is good. that is how we, they, took studio time. you better have your best shit on the line no matter what the song is.

  • i lent this album to a friend like 6 months ago, I NEED IT BACK

  • The Stooges > Nirvana

  • nirvana is not way behind the stooges i disagree with that

  • it's sad that when i type in "Funhouse" alone by its self, i see that Pink shit pop up first.

  • let me in....

  • Man I wish I was born in the mid 60s

I missed all the awesome concerts!

  • if you are not from detroit in the late 60's you cant know iggy ... like we "DETROIT" know iggy .. but excellent quality audio .. thanks ...

  • @rommel151270 Yeah DUDE!!!!

  • @neto4346

I don't understand why you all hate Nirvana so much.

Both the Stooges and Nirvana were extremely influential bands in their time and both remain cultural icons of rebellion. You just strike me as one of those ignorant people who hates anything that didn't come out in the 60s or 70s without even listening to it.

  • @rommel151270 u german? You know rommel was a nazi right? And nazi suck. But kurt wasen't a looser, I agree that this is much better and with more soul and sound but cobain made a important part in rock to.

  • @HerbalistNL no man

nirvana a good group, but well behind the stooges

  • @bowiemars Thats exacly what I am sayingXD

  • fuck nirvana. they stole everything they did from bands like the melvins and husker du.

  • @mwells219 your a faggot talkin shit on nirvana, its called influence...

  • @lateralus1007 Kurt Cobain would be offended at that comment, as he himself said he wished he was gay. Homophobes have no place in 90s rock.

  • @lateralus1007 fuck nirvana dude jajajaja

  • have u listened to any of these bands? fuck off then wanker.

  • One of the Best Albums of Rock!!....god bless the stooges, bowie & The velvet underground!

  • @neto4346 agree!!!!!!!! man agreeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

  • I feel like this is what the devil listens to when he's drinking

  • @erichammy ah! right, I think all the lost souls dance with this while rotting in hell, and the devil is fingering his fucking ass meanwhilre!

  • Thank you so much for uploading 1970

  • This album smashed me to pieces when I first heard it

It remains in the edgiest outer edge

  • Hammersmith Monday 3rd May Funhouse

  • Q MUSIKA NOJENTA!

  • This is music.

  • this song is in MTX mototrax..... i love this

  • I listen to this everyday before I j*ck *ff... The only way I can

  • @akropiss you jack everyday? lol

  • @Urboyez twice a day. whats scary is I've never written that, which means my roomate did. this is awkward. and the fact he was using my youtube meant he was on my pc, if he was listening to this song..... yeah dude, you've made me realize something really fucked up.

  • @akropiss Lololololol

  • @akropiss

    +_+

  • @akropiss That's smart.

  • @akropiss im sure Iggy would be pleased you ass !~ .. put a bag on your head !since we know iggy hed be really proud some little pervert jacks off to his song .... ASSHOLE !

  • @suzesrc -I'm pretty sure Iggy would love that, knowing about his former stage antics haha

  • the funhouse was their house in ann abour, but sadly it was torn done and a highway is their now

  • wtf i luv more than dis song!!! XD

  • i am sooooo buying this album on vinyl.

  • ok, i checked it out. on the first album "the stooges" asheton used a gibson flying v. on "fun house" he switched to fender stratocaster, but a custum version with two humbuckers.

  • yes, you `re right. but in fact asheton used a gibson les paul.

  • i`m sure williamson uses a gibson, les paul or sg.

  • williamson didnt play with the stooges on this album, not until raw power a couple of years later. this was ron asheton may he rest in peace...

  • what guitar they used?

  • I now know where The Pop Group got their sound from

  • This song is so Doors, but it kicks ass on its own merit.

  • I was thinking the same thing.

  • Doorsy maybe but with the important difference that it's actually good

  • ohh fuck off fishingrhod, dont try and say for a second the doors arent a great band... the stoogest wouldnt never have existed with out the doors

  • bitchen

  • delirium becomes music...AWESOME!

  • I love my dads opinion about their first album, "IT TAKES SOME SERIOUS BALLS TO HAVE A 10 MINUTE SONG ON YOUR FIRST ALBUM!"

  • LOL, that's the best comment I've seen in awhile.

  • Haha thanx, The Stooges are an important band, they influenced The Ramones, & in my opinion The Ramones saved rock n roll

  • Hell yeah, youre right. Just read the book 'Please Kill Me' or watch the Ramones-Docu 'End of The Century'. There weren't many people in the late Sixties/ early Seventies who like the Stooges-Sounds...

  • Exactly, & whoever was a Stooges fan in those days went out started their own band, whether it was good or bad, people today still don't know about The Stooges, & if they do it's probably cause Iggy Pop is more famous than them

  • where you there i dont think so you did not live in the moment but you can if you feel the vibe take me back pleeeeeese

  • The Stooges are cool like "The Doors" in a higher gear .-)

  • @fortheloveoftunes Yeah man that's a perfect analogy!

  • @fortheloveoftunes the doors offered iggy to replace jim after he died would ve been interesting to see how that would have turnred out.

  • Absolutely. I would have loved that.

  • @fortheloveoftunes TOTALLY BUDDDDD EEEEEEEE

  • Ive just decided, if they ever told me that the nuke was coming I would put on this record... or Raw Power, light a spliff, and let come.

  • hell yeah son

  • Fucking Brilliant statement.

  • ya what ever hapend to Dave Alexander?

  • @grglcs he died from an pancreatitis or something like that about 75. Of course lots of alcohol involved.

Sad, he was really great bass

  • @grglcs: lturko is right. Sad story indeed. He was the son of alcoholics who allowed him to start drinking when he was a kid and he never stopped. He was fired by the band for showing up too drunk to play a major gig.

Primary composer of "We Will Fall", "Little Doll", "Dirt" and "1970".

  • CANCION DE SU ALBUM FUN HOUSE DE 1970. No.200 DE 1001 ALBUMES FAMOSOS

  • Around the end this song reminds me of 21th Century Schizoid Man by King Crimson. Both great songs.

  • You can do anything to this song...anyfuckinthing. Jam.

  • Maybe the best song ever.

  • Comment removed

  • I usually don't like saxophone being played in any song...but this really goes well with that guitar riff....plus Iggy's vocals are incredible

  • that's what happens when a a lunatic falls in the pocket while high on pink columbian baby powder

  • Comment removed

  • probably the best album of its kind in generations

  • Dave Alexander is the best punk bassist of all time !

He is as important as Ron Asheton at least.

Both are bricks in the wall of music-history !

  • I like it!

  • this sounds like something quentin tarrintino (sp) would put in a film,

    good song

  • @rambleonrose93 2 lazy 2 even look up how 2 spell his name.

  • @rambleonrose93 That's exactly what i was thinkin. This song would have been perfect in Death Proof when Julia calls the radio station and they jam out before getting fucked up by Stuntman Mike's Car.

  • i can tell the LSD party in the studio for this album was wild, this is true dirty rock n roll

  • finally i found this haha i heard it on this one dirtbike game for ps2 haha

  • dude wtf same here lol ive been searchen 4 dis song

  • This shit well melt your fucking face off!!!

  • Ugly was never so Beautiful.

  • sorry something so wild!!!!!! was never so BEAUTIFUL!!!!:))))

  • One of the best riffs Ron Asheton ever played. Devastatingly funky. R.I.P. dude :(

  • This is the album right here, stick this album in yer IPods kids!!

  • more mushrooms please

  • FUCK YEAH!!!!
