The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances was the second/third episode of Doctor Who that I'd ever seen. Needless to say, its insane amount of creepiness plus Captain Jack Harkness sealed the deal and I've loved Doctor Who ever since :P . Even though Matt Smith is really good at it, David Tennant will always be "my Doctor".

(from ‘Silence in the Library’/‘Forest of the Dead’) are the two scariest Doctor Who lines ever written. They're both the scared voice of an innocent victim, and the signal that the 'monster' is coming to get you. That’s just brilliantly freaky.
