Strange, as the vocals are not in 4/4 to me, they are twice as fast , hence unadapted to the basic rythmic of the song I hear the vocals killing the rest of the rythm.

Esta es una de las razones por la cual los salseros siempre están fuera de ritmo en el tiempo 2 y 6. O sea no marcan homogéneamente. El pie del 2 y del 6 lo marcan en el mismo lugar levantandolo. Eso hace que recorran menor distancia que el pie que sale atras y vuelve alante y el que sale alante y vuelve atrás. Este es uno de los defectos de fabrica del paso básico que mal imitaron los salseros de los soneros. Y es por eso que se ve tan feo cuando bailan y se demoran tanto en aprender.

Thank you for all these videos. I'm still struggling to find the "1" on some songs. Here I got a question: there is a break at 3:22. I would have said that the "5" becomes "1" after that. But the end of the song proves me I'm wrong. What is the instrument I could rely on not to fail?

Regarding your question, I wrote a software that generated the waveforms out of the original music files and synchronized it with the music, then it also added the "one" and the other elements such as the shoes dancing to the rhythm.
