I've never been a huge fan of hers, but her talent is undeniable, both as a singer and as an entertainer. I would put her in a class with her idol Dolly Parton, and perhaps also Reba McEntire, as far as creating a unique and memorable show (as opposed to just showing up and singing a dozen or so songs).

If the only argument of her lip-synching is that she is signing autographs at the same time, think about people who can sing and dance at the same time. Believe me, it's possible to sing and do something else. But I agree with you about focusing on a good show. I watched the whole Toronto concert and I was a bit disappointed. She just went around the stage and signed autographs. It was pretty boring. But it's possible to sing and sign at the same time.
