@JonnyD108 I just tried that, it does work but its a little too slow, the point of a white flash is to be a quick transition. When I shortened the dip to color to about 5 frames it looked pretty good. Good idea though! I've only used the dip to color dissolve to do black fades.

You could also use a "Dip to Color Dissolve" transition and set the transition length to around 12 frames. I find this to be a little less epileptic seizure inducing :)

However, there is more than one way to do everything in Final Cut. Great tutorial!
