I'm really glad I was searching on Youtube today for a band called Trigger Hippie. This was the first thing that popped up. Definitely not the "trigger hippie" band with Jimmy Herring that I was looking for but I was immediately mesmerized. This Skye woman is awesome.. research led me to Morcheeba then the realization that they got rid of Skye. Crazy. I was about to buy the newest album they released thank god I found out they got rid of sky before I did that. I bought the first album.

If they wanted to kick Sky out of the band thats fine but they should have just retired Morcheeba all together started up a different project. Skys voice was just as much a part of Morcheeba as anything else.

Ehh, I kinda agree. Skye was a huge part of Morcheeba yeah, and when she left I thought they were finished, but Morcheebas latest album Dive Deep was incredible and the brothers are tooo good to just stop. But I think shes too big a hole to replace, so they shouldnt. Instead, just do what they did on Dive Deep and get different singers for all the songs. I bought Skyes album, which was also incredible, and Im glad shes really beginning to do really well on her own, so now I love them both.

The Godfrey brothers wanted to do their own thing...they bumped her from the band. What a mistake that was, huh?!? But it worked out for Skye though. She's doin' some good stuff now. Check out "Jamaica Days, (live-acoustic)"
