I love this show and will definitely miss it when its over. I dont claim to understand the workings of polygamy but I do find it a bit hypocrtical that a man can have tons of wives and the women cant have lots of husbands.

It makes it seem as if the men are dictators who control the women....I can only speculate but, I think fair is fair if polygamy is going to be out there then both sexes should have equal rights in the partnership department. Just my thinking!!!

now imagine 1 woman with 4 husbands. that's like having 4 extra kids! it's an even bigger nightmare than 4 wives. she's the only one having kids.

i'm not defending polygamy, i think it's bullshit. but the reverse will never happen, women aren't greedy pigs that way and males are an extra burden.

@karlsmith00 actually, i didn't deny poligamy, truth told, we no longer practice it. And yes, blacks were denied the priesthood for a time, but once agian that was also discontinued. However, Joseph Smith is only a convicted fraud to those who can't believe with any speck of faith, like yourself for example. It's obvious to me that you don't even know what the true meaning of "faith" is. But that's ok. Because i really don't care what you believe.

and the blacks were only allowed priesthood since 1978, after over a full decade following pressure since the civil rights act. mormons certainly take time!
