Waking up and saying "today I will accept Jesus into my life" is not free will. It is the result of a long subconscious process beyond your control. The very same subconscious process might lead you to be an atheist. Either way it is a subconscious process not free will.

The Bibel teaches clearly .. there is no person without sin on this world. The only one who was born without sin was Christ. So he is the only way out of it.

God is creating everything, so why do God want to become like one of its creations?!!!! That also, like human being, the sinners?!!!! Then you say, it's for forgiving the origial sin. But if somebody is punished, then where is the forgiveness?!!!! If somebody forgive sombody else, then there will be no punishment at all, but here, Jesus is punished. So, what is forgiveness?!!!

@89xxkoLaciC - No, you dont understand. First of all accepting Christ as your savior in your heart and your mind saves you from the separation of God. We are separeted from God by sin since we are born. So it doesnt matter if you are good in your life. If you dont have Christ you are lost. Period.

The second point is following. A Person who take Christ in his heart and mind will automatically to the good works, because the holy spirit will reveal your own sins.

According the Bible a child is resposable for his action from 12 years on. Jesus head his Mizwa when he was 12. The Jews still practice this until today. @89xxkoLaciC - So the point is this. The good works are the consequence of acepting Christ and not contrarwise. Because your are saved and redeemed by Christ you do good works through him and not because you do good works your saved.

You cant save yourself through good works!

@89xxkoLaciC - I agree with you on this point. Every person is responsable for his action and have to pay for it if he doesnt repent from his bad actions. But more important message is that Christ give to every person even to the deepest sinner the possibility to turn away. That is why he told:

Luke 5,32

"I came NOT to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

Christ is the only one who can make you righetous in front of his Father, your good actions are not enough and never will be. Moreover, the good actions will be the consequence of that you have realized that everything you do or dont do is by grace.

@89xxkoLaciC no amount of good deeds can negate the sin that you have committed. No amount of charity can negate a murder or other crime. Only through blood and sacrifice can sin be forgiven. Jewish law required the sacrifice of lambs and such to satisfy God's need for blood to negate your sins. But Jesus Christ came as a metaphorical Lamb of God. He was pure; sinless. and he was sacrificed for all the sins of mankind! All you have to do is believe, live like Jesus, and you will be saved!

I really admire Shabir's respectful presentations. Too often folks are angry and rude in debate. I think Shabir is the best muslim apologist I have seen yet. However, Dr. Craig is by far the most effective Christian philosopher/apologist alive today and his presentation and refutation of the Quran can not be overlooked as having merit. His arguments are solid and his rebuttals are enough to challenge any honest thinker.

Ally does not understand what Dr.Craig was trying to say about being able to love AND hate someone. If you ask a smoker why they love ciggerettes, they will say something like "I love them because they make me feel good". If you ask them if they hate ciggerettes, they might say something like "well, I hate ciggerettes because they give me cancer". So which is it? Do they love or hate ciggerettes? It's both. They're compatible. What is not compatible is to say that you love AND do NOT love them.
