This is an excellent tribute video... would have loved to hear the call for Kirk Gibson HR on a bum knee.
some where in heaven, Jack Buck is enjoying this incredibly CRAZY World Series win by the Cardinals... R.I.P Mr Buck
Love the picture of Hary Caray "strangling" Jack Buck... what a golden age it must have been for baseball fans in the midwest - they were able to listen to the two greatest baseball.. no .. greatest sports announcers - Hary Caray and Jack Buck.
@nagee76 I would have put in the Gibson "I don't believe what I just saw!" call but I was trying to keep it strictly Cardinals. Be on the lookout for a new vid i'm working on for TLR
i remember that day clearly even tho i was only 8 years old. living in st. louis, naturally i was raised a cards fan so i would be listening to jack every night. i cried for jack buck before i turned 10 years old. thats what jack meant to us here in st. louis.
Loved Jack. Am I the only one who can't stand Joe?

I grew up a Cardinal fan, so I grew up a Jack Buck fan. "Go crazy, folks!" "I don't believe what I just saw!" "That's a winner!"
