When management and unions can work together I call that progression. I have seen it in the past and I believe in it. There was no militancy or extremism. Now, in so called 'democracies' we have 'choice' . You can choose who to appoint Prime Minister or President but it makes no difference because they have to pander to the banks who are more powerful than their own country. Who pays the price? .......we do ...so fuck em.
Power, passion, musicianship and personal agenda all superbly displayed. Bragg at his best. Yes he's traded the rough end of London for the comforts of rural life but he hasn't lost his cutting edge nor sold out on his uncompromising stand against repression of the working class.
Gigging is work, far better than claiming benefits ! As for his message, it took the law to end slavery, to introduce the Factory Acts, the Health * Safety Act, Hazardous materials regulation, the minimum wage, etc, With very few exceptions, none of this has been done voluntarilty by employers. Ask the Chinese factory worker.
@Live4Britain he's used his name to promote the labour party and union power. you follow the the bnp which have no real policies just racial discrimination. people in glass houses
