Thanks. I haven't even barely touched on the subjects of Creepy, Betty The Bomb, Stir fry, Prime Time and my ladies of the night...but I'll get there.
Such a splenid melancholic take on the harshness of... hm, you make me imagine an underground burlesque street show with your descriptions. Charge an authentic, encouraging smile.
we're only halfway thru Texas, not halfway thru the trip yet...see my compilation at Revver entitled "Cheap Retrispective" (Youtube couldn't handle the 35 minute file)
I visited an old friend of mine in LA once, had the whole family along. Friend says, well, what sights do you want to see? Only one - La Brea Tar Pits. I found it creepy that the tar was oozing out from the cracks in the sidewalk. Pretty decent museum.
Just one question. After those last few stops and being left with a feeling of abandonment or impending doom... did they actually supply your OH SO perceptive & mystifying cranium with a PILLOW ?!!
I left out the high end hookers at the Skybar, the back door man at the House of Blues, the soap opera actors in Pacific Palisades, the wild-assed Arabs in Bel Air, the casino in Compton, the gypsy caravan in Lawndale, my homeless veterans shelter in Inglewood, Duke The Midget Pimp in Westwood, the after hours clubs and a host of other L.A. oddities.
The Blueblocker sunglasses guy, Graveline Tours, the grocery store in NoHo where Todd Chaisson used to sleep in a cardboard box, the actual physical addresses of L.A.'s top escort agencies, the Marina del Rey moviestar hideout condo, L'Ermitage in Bev Hills....yeah, I've been around.
The 24-hour Chinese-Mexican donut shop on Sunset Blvd where they held the stinking bum chess tournaments all night long (playing chess there made my eyes water).
I have no idea how to get you featured...I've shared your vids with friends, and...I barely have enough income to pay my bills, and I don't have a camera anymore...sorry! :)
the inside of that train looks like a air plane

For some reason I feel compelled to comment on this video. I don't really know why.

Hahaha. No comment.

This was so lyrical. You're way too dreamy at times, sorta like a tramp. Did you have time for any potty stops?! That's important.

That's the subject of the very next video!

Much of my life in Los Angeles was an underground burlesque street show...the last 5 years at least.
marquisdejolie 4 years ago

Sometimes the streets around there catch on fire through the asphalt cracks. It's kind of cool.
marquisdejolie 4 years ago
Play ho or no ho,....Thats some funny shit.
The only good thing about Hollywood, is that everybody is accepted, no matter how fucked up or weird you are.
doubleaamazin 4 years ago
Yep. Accepted or killed. Those are the two choices I saw on the eastern edge of Sunset Blvd.

Good use of time posturing. Enjoyed the story.
BullRunnn 4 years ago
Thanks. What is time posturing?
marquisdejolie 4 years ago
If you had a cam that took images at the rate 30
fps per second (fps). You edited the film at a rate of 15 fps. The final product would be choppy. Like the old school rock videos of the 80's.
BullRunnn 4 years ago
Oh. Cool. Thanks.
marquisdejolie 4 years ago
Great trip!
Just one question. After those last few stops and being left with a feeling of abandonment or impending doom... did they actually supply your OH SO perceptive & mystifying cranium with a PILLOW ?!!
...or is that a diaper (?)
Peace.
Love, love ,love your take on life.
