  • I'd probably get a d|focus unit if I could ACTUALLY BUY one. seems like ages that i've been waiting on it to be produced.

  • I got huge amount of play. 3-4mm of play. Very clunky. Rather buy from big established name who you can trust and give you support. You buy from China, when it's bad, adios amigo. N E V E R T O U C H T H I S.

  • Man, the mount budges big time on bigger lenses. Mine also has a lot of play. Won't touch this with a 10 foot pole. Typical Chinese rip off. Would rather buy a Jag35 one

  • I have nothing against you but this looks like you just amplify the defect .I also test my trusmt FF,it have a little blacklash but not as big as yours. On the whole,i'm very satisfied with this product.

  • Turns Out I can't post a link to CD5 forum or edit video description

  • newarrivalproduction you choose to ignore the part where I say "you make your mind about this product" I really do not give a detailed opinion on the video but I did over C5D forum, I'll post it here so you can read it:

  • No real competition, we don't sell a 500ish mechanical follow focus.

  • @jehugarcia

I have nothing against Jag35....I like em' support 'em even own some gear...just strike's me as odd that they'd put a video up bashing a little know follow focus "straight from china" as you put it(although its hard to find any industry standard ff's that aren't straight from China --d-focus excluded). I just find it interesting how this little know ff caught your attention to the point that you'd put up a video about it.

  • looks like jag35's hating on the competition....

  • No, the gear is tight, the play is in the gearbox not in the drive gear, if you really pay attention you will see that the screw rotates along with the drive gear.

  • dude, I got the exact same unit and it's got virtually no backlash at all... as the screw that holds the gear does not move at all while you move the gear, I suggest you tighten that screw a bit and you'll be fine because it is obviously loose! let me know if it worked

  • I couldn't find a way to adjust it.

  • Can back lash be adjusted?
