The problem for me is that, his shirts don't seams to fit him properly. They are too tight on his belly and the sleeves are loose. The whole garment looks uneven on him. The second and on a more subjective note, I don't like the very boring fabric of his shirt. You would expect him to wear something which would be more inspiring!
@jovantheun1337 Once I figure out how to send you a private message and find the time to explain what is a complicated issue, I would be happy to try and explain it to you.
Seems like a great shirtmaker, perhaps one of the last that is truly knowledgeable about bespoke shirtmaking. But to say a client "lied"? That's really a bad thing for a tailor to say, let alone repeat in public. Perhaps he's just overworked.
@guysovereign Some people say "let's say he lied" as in "let's say he wanted something but said something else [out of confusion]" it's not meant to be taken in a bad way... the way it's being said, you must have an understanding that he's trying to communicate "let's say he changed his mind." Yes, his choice of words may be poor, but it's what he meant.

My keyboard has gone mad, which explains the sad duplication below.... I agree with you on all points, vote4tom, and by my doing so I have clearly voted for Tom.
Alex Kabbaz is an outstanding craftsman. In a world of steadily declining standards, his shirts are a beacon of civilized taste and lasting style.
As regards low-level controversy on the AAAC forum: it is inevitable that conflicts between persons suffering from strong views will break out.... Alex Kabbaz is a passionate, dedicated artist, who cares a great deal about his clients. My wife has ordered from his firm in the past--she was simply delighted with the results.
It is inside information that I would not expect you to get. Suffice it to say that he was bullied and coerced by a small group of thugs who hijacked the site he moderates, a site that those he chose to 'reluctantly' support do not even support themselves. Alex was used, but he is still a great guy and a very talented shirtmaker.

I met him once. I've never been his client, but I met him and that comment seems par for the course with him.

An expert on shirtmaking. Not so good at moderating AAAC and in who he chooses to support, sadly.

Who he chooses to support? I don't get it.
