i will be doing somthing similar to this but not as much power, i got BF XR6T and modding and tuning it up to 340RWKW which is 442 flywheel KW, hoping to run low 12's or high 11's in 1/4 mile, i also hav a mate thats got a F6 with 410RWKW and runs a 10.6@130mph

heavy duty ones are already installed

not jus more boost buddy d typhoon has tougher engine internals and can handle more power with ease d xr6turbo needs 2 get its engine rebuilt if u want alot of horsepower

Sorry mate, the BF's got the same bottom end as the typhoon. F6 just has a larger intercooler and runs more boost.

As from 06/06 the XR6Turbo has the exact same engine as the typhoon. Just running less boost.

hey buddy i'm 19 too and here is the difference between an F6 and a XR6T

a modified FPV airbox (with Duel Ram Air intakes), higher strength conrods, larger air to air intercooler, high flow exhaust system, higher capacity fuel pump, and a Garrett GT3540 turbocharger with an external gate (up from the GT3040 on the XR6T) running 0.64 bar of boost (dont get this mixed up with psi).

Yes this for the difference between the F6 & the BA XR6T,the BF XR6T copped the full treatment as the F6 when the BF's came out,the only thing that is different between the two is the F6 runs 8psi boost,the XR6T running 6psi with a cooler half the size,and yes the secondary intake is also not on the XR6T,that is all trust me,done LOTS of research on these and own 1

Ok , got a question for ya BAwithBALLS,

I'm going to buy either a BF Typhoon or an FG XR6T Auto.

They both have the same Kw (the Typhoon has a tad more torque).

They are both in the lower to mid $30,K's...

The Typhoon looks way tougher but

I will get new car warranty on the XR6T.

What is the major difference between the two ?

The FG XR6T has smaller front wheel on the turbo which makes it spool quicker than the BF and it has 17nm less torque,unless you want brembo's get the FG you'll thank ya self.

I reckon the FG should have descent enough brakes anyway . propably won't notice a meazly 17nm less torque.lol..

.i don't circuit / street race etc...The fuel economy looks great for a large family car with power when you need it for a safe overtake etc..

Just waiting to sell the XT...

I had the option also and bought a BF F6 TYPHOON, Larger turbo and it also comes with Brembo's, 516rwhp or 386rwkw with out touching the motor. FG XR6T just dosen't have the aggresive look like the BF F6

In the end the XR6T is still a Falcon the Typhoon is an FPV which will hold it's value more...and as u said, looks more aggressive (actually i think the BF looks more aggressive than the FG F6)

FAIL much? These are made in Australia so obviously you can. Just rock up and ask for them to make the NizPro engine for you. You won't be able to buy the cars though, as they're specifically made for the UK.

I've seen one getting around Hoppers Crossing. Looks fairly stock, except a big dirty badge on the back that says "F6 R Spec" or something a long thoes lines. Awsome looking car.

Nah man those F6 RSpecs are just a line of f6 made by ford all they are are a standard bf f6 with much much beta suspensions mods and some tweaks here and there they only made 300 of them...

EU regulations mean that the ALL lights need to be removed and replaced with E numbers on them. a rear foglight is also needed.

i only know this as we have the 1st ford falcon gt-p to be exported - to jersey which are not in the EU, veiw my posts 4 proofe!. weve been 2 the nuburgring x4 and spa francorchamps once and the same for le mans bugatti circuit. (we did have black stripes on it but now blue, even more unique.) finally - very fast 155mph in 5th - more revs and then 6th! easy 180mph
