  • i didnt know there was such things as hairless piggys...huh i guess we all learn something every day! :)

  • was this sponsered

  • @SmileWouldYaa LOL no, definitely not.

  • I didn't see bedspreads that were reversible and did not have sides like yours. do you have all of your's custom made?

  • @Byrd968 I had to message for a special request.

  • @Byrd968 CobbCabinCraft has bedspreads that are reversible and have no sides, and its a little less money

  • I'm really curious about these. How long does it take for them to start smelling? I usually have to change my care fresh at least once a week.

  • @mir2390 I change my cages twice a week. Skinny pigs poop/pee more than furry pigs and I have pairs in some of the cages.

  • im viewer 600!

  • You are definitely right, buying fleece or piggy bedspreads is a TON cheaper. I found out that to buy Carefresh for one year would be at LEAST $1,440, just for bedding!

  • @PerfectPiggies I know, bedding is crazy if you ever add it up yearly!

  • @skinnypigs1

I can't even imagine how much it would be for you! I have two pigs and one cage, you have 6 pigs and 4 cages!

  • @PerfectPiggies same id rather pay $300 for somthing reausable than almost 1500 for bedding every year

  • @skinnypigs1 oh okay thank you =)

  • You make a lot of good points here!

  • thanks

  • @skinnypigs1 then how come you don't? Not saying what you are doing is wrong but it would be a lot cheaper so wouldn't you rather? x

  • @piggyland1 Because I have never sewn in my life and don't care to. I'd much rather have someone do it for me.

  • Great reviews! The liner is REALLY expensive! I buy 5 dollar fleece and use old towels and I never have to buy anything again! :D

I really want some stuff from Cobb Cavin Crafts. I will DEFINETLY be ordering from her. :D

  • @petlover324 Why thank you lil lady! Make sure you go with XL items for your boys :)

  • @skinnypigs1 You're welcome! Oh yes definetly! :D I'm 100 % getting a lair and I am debating between a cuddle cup because my pigs have never had one, and an XL tunnel. What do you think?

  • just a quick question about the contest but are you picking randomly this time?

  • @turkey1126 One person will be picked at Random and I think two will win by having the most thumbs up.

  • @skinnypigs1 Ok! Thanks

  • While you were showing Calvin and Hobbes cage for the cuddle cup, I noticed you had to bedspreads... can I ask why? Is it because one shrank? Thanks!

  • @trexgorawrrrrr They were the spreads for the divided cage. So I got two made so I wouldn't have such a hard time working around the divider.

  • I dig it

  • You know you said thatit ends up cheaper than bedding, but what if you made your own liner with fleece and absorbant layer and fleece, then it would be even cheaper! Would you not recommend doing that (I am thinking about doing that with a mattress protecter) Thanks and great video! xx

  • @piggyland1 Of course you could make your own.

  • Great reviews. Thinking about getting a cozy cocoon. Would also love to give the bedspread a go but don't think it would be doable with my size cage.

  • @Zoebabies You could get a bunch of smaller liners to make up for the cage size, that way it would be easier to wash and replace sections as needed.

  • @skinnypigs1 I'm seriously tempted. Maybe I'll get some for my birthday as I'm afraid hubby will go crazy if I spend anymore money on bedding just now after replacing all my fleeces ;-)

  • I use bedding because the people at the pet store said that when they would step in their pee that it drys their skin on their feet. Is that true? because i really want to use fleece but i dont want my piggies feet to be all dried out.

  • @MitchyDuHblonde1 You use an absorbant layer under the fleece, so the urine gets pulled down into the absorbant layer and doesn't come into contact with the piggies.

If you just had them walking on fleece only the pee would just sit their and harm their feet but with something to soak up the urine, like a mattress pad or towel, it is no different than bedding.

  • i want two cage sets!! my mom says it's too pricey but, like you said, it pays for itself. laying down both fleece and towels is sooo annoying. im gonna show my mom this video :D

  • @mxbarb7 I bet your pigs would be happy!

  • I ordered a bedspread earlier this week and it should be in tomorrow! I've had two of their large potty pads which work great! My pigs pee a lot where they sleep and where they eat their hay and I've never had the pad soak through or even be all wet when I pick it up. I've also got a cozy sack and a tunnel from Cobb Cabin and my pigs love them. (I should have gotten the XL tunnel though!) I'm probably going to order a cozy cocoon at some point soon.

  • @spicnspan320 YAY that is awesome!

I prefer XL for the tunnels and burrow bags.

  • @skinnypigs1 Yeah, being the first time buying them, I was unaware of the actual size. Luckily I bought the XL burrow bag but next time I'll be sure to get an XL tunnel :D

  • Yay! Thank you so much for doing this! It's really informative. I think I will go ahead and buy a few things :)

  • @cavylicious You're welcome! I wish I had Cobb Cabin Craft liners to review. They look really cute as well.
