I love the look and feel of granite, but isn't it porous and suscepible to stains - doesn't it need regular sealing - and isn't it dangerous to health (radon gas and radiation)? I'm intending to have a new kitchen soon, and need to know the facts, before deciding on what worktop to go for. Thanks, Bob (Surrey)
