It's funny.. all of my friends who are Marines never say they are the best nor do they bash on other branches.. thell crack jokes but never be serious... the people i see on you tube claiming how the marines are the best probably arent in any branch period.
it doesn't matter which branch is better they all have their separate jobs navy they have their ships for fighting other navies and doing other jobs,USMC are trained for main combat and other things,Army they have the tanks and other cool vehicles and are also trained for main combat and other things,USAF are the fly boys who control the skys and bomb the shit out of an area before all of our troops get in and other things.with out one of those branches our military probably wouldnt function

The royal marines werent in vietnam, and you guys got your asses kicked there, in iraq and afghanistan our marines, being an elite unit alonside the paras, play a difference role to your marines, who are just footsoldiers.
@GaffneyMarine I think you need to check your statements... even the USMC gave credit to the Australian expertise and capability in the Vietnam war, its cool and all to recognise the USMC as a beastly and incredible thing, but dont be arrogant to think they are the best at eerything and better than everyone else. if you realy want a challenge you should look at the Royal Marine commandos get fit course and if you can be that fit you could get into your USMC any day
Both are going to be hard, the marines will be harder I myself just recently Enlisted in the Marines, just keep in mind it will be one of the hardest things you will ever do but it makes you that much stronger
