doesn't the city also bow down to guilfoyle .the fire dept.cant have a ambulance becouse the city council doesn't want to step on any toes except the city tax payer.
Again, the Mayor sounds like he has no idea what is going on and can't seem to answer simple questions. Seems like there are alot of things going on behind closed doors that should really be public information. It's too bad that Friendly's offer wasn't forwarded through to the Council in a timely manner, but Mr. Fear shouldn't be penalized for someone else's mistake. Put it up for public auction, let the highest bidder take it and be done with it.

I would like to know who held up the request from Friendly in the first place... Why did it take so long to get there request to the council? Why is Mr. Fear not forth coming on what he plans to do with the propery? I dont live in Watertown but do watch the council meeting online... and have learn a lot on how local goverment works...
Friendly should get the property. Then could even put at enter/exit from Hanely Street too.
Its the duty of a voted in Goverment offical to auction this and any property ..Which goes for highest price.. Its the best interest of the taxpayers in that area of the sale.
