Hey, will you be coming to any Reptile Expos in California this year? The NARBC in Anaheim on September, San Diego in June, Pomona in August, or Pasadena in November. I will be attending all of those cause they're in the Los Angeles region and I would definitely buy a ball python from you guys.
Hey Brian, I am a huge fan and was wondering if you could come to a show in Michigan. I know that there is one in Taylor at the Taylor Town Trade Center at 22525 Ecorse Rd in Taylor MI, 48180. Please come, the shows are the second Saturday of every month of the year and are from 10am to 4pm.
@3:00 there is a park my parents and i used to stop at on our way to some holiday places, where we would stop and have a meal, this park was called goanna park and litterally 20 or so of these lizards would come and mob you for food!
I lived in North-west Australia (Kununurra). First day i was there i saw a blue tongued lizard. From then on out, for the 10 years i lived there i never saw another.
Lol man I see the lizards he was showing all the time lol. The Argus Monitor I heaps lol. A family friend has a bunch of em that hang around the back of his house (back of his house is bush). They come up to the house all the time to get fed by him lol. I think there are like 6 of em and they are always in a group. I also always find em around picnic area's and up tree's lol...
i cant decide between a brazilian rainbow boa or a jungle carpet python oh and in about a week or so im geting in my car and driving 23 hours to bhb se u soon but which do you suggest
at about 1.34 when you have the "frill dragon" we call them a frill necked lizard and at 2.30 when you talk about the lace monitor, the behaviour you are describing is so true and awesome (eg at bbqs, wanting food, and if you put down a cup of water they will drink out of it) on a side note though, we call them goannas here. I think it should be clarified too that the "rough scaled python" that you handle is VERY different to the rough sclaed snake which is very venemous
That Roughie was ADORABLE. Just flailing around, trying to latch onto ANYTHING. I love grumpy snakes like that for whatever reason, lol
Adventures! I live in NW Florida and there are LOTS of woods to go herping and adventuring in. Last weekend, I ended up seeing a DOR Corn Snake intergrade(possibly Red x Gray rat), the tracks of what I think was a Diamondback Rattlesnake, a lost Wolf-dog, a Water Moccasin, a neonate Banded Water Snake, a crazy-tall Coyote, and a 4 ft. American Alligator.
Was disappointed I didnt make it to the retile show maybe next time. I love the Morelia's too really want a Roughie and an Oenpellis also. Do you know if that roughie was a wild caught specimen or just having a really bad day lol thanks for shedding blood.
I have been to the San Francisco Giants stadium At&t Park. It was a win for the Giants. I have a youtube video up of the 9th inning. It was my 1st game in 5 years. I also was one of the 20,000 people to get a Willie Mays "the catch" bobblehead. My 1st bobblehead and not my last.
I'm taking the greatest adventure of my life, I'm finishing high school. I'm graduating on the 27th and going to college in October. This is a hard journey for me to take because I'm having to do it without my Dad,who passed away this past April. But this is going to be a pretty amazing journey

Latest adventures...did some herp demos for elementary school kids, and got some new snakes from someone you know...Jason Feagans. First large snakes for me...2 Red Tailed Boas...gorgeous as all get out, & puppy dog tame...still a bit new & nerve wracking, lol
well im 18 and a girl duh but i tell you this cause about 4 weeks ago i caught an American alligator which was 4 ft on my own so ya truely gave me a feeling on how amazing these animals are
Wish i was able to make it too sydney this year, oh well maybe next year. I love the morelia genus too and would love to have a roughie and oenpellis aswell. Do you know if that roughie was a wild specimen or was just having a bad day as they are usually known as been non-bitey, that guy was having a field day hehe. thanks for shedding blood :)
Hi snake Bytes, my last adventure was coming here to america, i'm from italy and my dad lives here and it's always a great adventure to get a plane and fly to the other side of the world!!
6:25 Brian, you didn't even flinch. Must be similar to how a bee keeper gets used to being stung thousands of times. Thanks for letting us in on all the awesome unique and exotic animals!
6:25 Brian, you didn't even flinch... Must be similar to how a bee keeper gets used to being stung thousands of times. Thanks for letting us in on all the awesome unique and exotic animals!
LOL I see you have met our more grumpy snakes. I was disappointed you didn't show our rare Womas.. I know you breed them but in the wild they are now listed as rare. Always worth a showing.
I was there, I was working the Sydney wildlife stand. :-)
check out reptile gardens in south dakota. it has some of the only rough scaled pythons in the U.S. and they also have the 2nd largest collection of venomouse snakes in the world!!!!!
Great episode, Brian! Looks like you got a little beat up with all the biting and scratching you had to endure, but I'm sure it was well worth it to handle all those awesome animals!
nice vid (sbtv) it was a good expo, was good to meet u Brian i remember u getting owned by that rough scaled at the snake ranch ;) the throny devils were awesome and the Indicus,
Hey Brian just a question from the favorite snakes episode since i watch it the other day i have been searching for a Jaguar Carpet Python ,you said in the episode its an Australian snake. is it an Australian snake that u have morphed ???? or was it done in Australia ??? im heaps keen to get one and not alot of people in Australia can tell me much about them ............ I would just like to say thank you because i always had a love for reptiles and i own a ball python. And i absolutely love this show! it never fails to amuse me, keep up the good work!
You looked like you were having a blast! Great job when holding the rough scaled python! He wanted a piece of you! haha! Looks like he got a few chunks!
No adventures recently, but one of my favorites was doing SkyVentures down in Orlando It's a vertical wind tunnel! It's the closest you can get to skydiving without getting in an airplane! You gotta do it someday!
Hey Brian! I admire your professional attitude handling your company, angry snakes, and your team ;) I hope to be a good teamleader like you one day. Expecting more videos from this team!
Ive been surfing and investigating this guy on craigslist, hes trying to tell me the snake he wants to trade for my 150$ Birdcage is an Axanthics BP morph, I've heard they can be similair looking to Normals when they're Adults wich this female is, but to me it looks nothing like one!
you can tell you've been handling snakes for a long time, that python tore your ass up and you barely flinched! way to take it like a man! did chewy go with? if so, did he get close to that python? love to see footage of that! keep up the good work, we reptile lovers are in your debt!
i love the the albino carpet.i´m really jealous that you got your hands on a M.carinata!!thats such a beautiful animal and it got the right attidude;-)
definatly loved the variety of lizards especially the monitors, im mean i love my snake but i totally couldent live without all my lizards great job man!!! my last adventure was exploring the edmonton university of alberta on a gorgeous day -wild life though.. saw 2 rabbits some koi and got attacked by wasps
A new adventure ive been on is moving all the way to the OC in California from Miami Florida. BUT i didnt go without a fight! i told my mom that if i move im either dying my hair or getting a corn snake. she buckled and got me the corn snake lol!
or more specificly, ive been on the adventure of gradualting middle school.
im realy exited for HS, and sometimes just want to graduate that already and move out, yet also i dont want to leave all my super special friends iv made here in MS. were all going to differnt HSs next year \(T~T)/
thats great you love us soo much lol,you shedd some blood!great vidd, and i have boas, but are the mangrove monitors ok pets?i have seen monitors down to 15 bucks but im not sure lol,any tips?
I love Blue Tongue Skinks! One of the top animals I want to own as pets...
DAMN YOU AUSTRALIA AND YOUR ANTI-IMPORTATION LAWS! Why do you have to keep all those awesome BTS morphs all for yourselves. I know I get a BTS here in the states but...Grrr! It's not the same!
most recent adventure would have to be a kayaking trip down a local river. it had been raining for like a week straight, so the water was really high and it was moving extremely fast. it was AWESOME!!!! the rapids that we normally play around on were gone because the water level was so high!
wooo brilliant! i didnt get to go to the expo so it was great to see what was actually there! and love the footage with the roughy that was one crazy bugger! glad you enjoyed some of the animals that down under has to offer :)
This was a great show. I was just thinking about how chewy would react to the rough scale python! An adventure was what happened with me and my friends playing around in the woods and we got a little nuts. We tried to hop a 5 foot deep stream! We each had to jump about 4-6 feet to get to the other side. Everyone jumped and of course i had to hold the cell phones. Now its my turn to jump and of course i land in the damn stream. funny how i was able to save 5 cell phones though. lolololololol
Well I have to say for the past 8.3months has been the biggest adventure for me! To sum up this adventure would be a scheduled trip to the docs for an epic c-section I didn't plan for!I tell you it's def been rough lol..Good luck for me next week!
Thats is so impressive how you are totally fearless of being bitten. I cant seem to get rid of the nerves, I am very scared of getting bit! Hopefully it goes away with time, i know if i calm down the snake will too.
well if you were a wal-mart bought gold fish you could say 'from the tank to the toilet bowl' if youre me its probably been somewere i shouldnt have been.
Brian, you can tell you're a veteran snake keeper and handler. You avoided the hit to the face (which could have been bad) even while you were concentrating on your speaking. You really have to know snake body language to do that.
I just got back from out 4th annual sausage fest. Its a camping trip me and a few buddies made up 5 years ago. Bunch of guys get together drink beer camp and fish. Usually a few pranks pulled as well. Every year our numbers seem to grow we had 20+ at the last fest. Best prank this year was a leach was slipped into a beer and the guy actually drank it and same guy got Crisco smeared all over his windshield. Fun times thats for sure.
@snakebytestv brian your right it ismore fun seeing chewy get bit, but is that not the first time you have ever been bit in a video?
I have a friend who never ever gets bit, no matter what we throw at him he seems to have a calming effect on snakes, we finally got him with a crazy baby retic that crept up his arm and managed to get him right on the end of his nose haha!

For the question!
Ive been surfing and investigating this guy on craigslist, hes trying to tell me the snake he wants to trade for my 150$ Birdcage is an Axanthics BP morph, I've heard they can be similair looking to Normals when they're Adults wich this female is, but to me it looks nothing like one!
Has someone ever tried to scam you guys?
YounggJewelz 1 year ago
@YounggJewelz There are tons of scammers out there. Be very careful! Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

The Spencer's Monitors' markings reminded me of the "eye liner" on beardies. Is it used for the same purpose?

most recent adventure would have to be a kayaking trip down a local river. it had been raining for like a week straight, so the water was really high and it was moving extremely fast. it was AWESOME!!!! the rapids that we normally play around on were gone because the water level was so high!

never knew that bts came in color variations, about how much does the albino or the all black one run for? they look awesome!

wooo brilliant! i didnt get to go to the expo so it was great to see what was actually there! and love the footage with the roughy that was one crazy bugger! glad you enjoyed some of the animals that down under has to offer :)

Love this show. Love seeing all the different reptiles and snakes from Aussie land. Sweet and thanks Brain....

Brian, you can tell you're a veteran snake keeper and handler. You avoided the hit to the face (which could have been bad) even while you were concentrating on your speaking. You really have to know snake body language to do that.
Great job as always and thanks for the blood :-)

wow, that show blew me away. By far the best one yet Brian! KEEP UM COMMIN!!!
Now you got me wanting the all black skink, lol.

BlakeAKADJF150 1 year ago
@snakebytestv brian your right it ismore fun seeing chewy get bit, but is that not the first time you have ever been bit in a video?
I have a friend who never ever gets bit, no matter what we throw at him he seems to have a calming effect on snakes, we finally got him with a crazy baby retic that crept up his arm and managed to get him right on the end of his nose haha!
