I like the Japanese version better. I don't know why, but it sounds a lot more beautiful than the English one. It's beautiful. And I'm now re-obsessed over this game.

@rayraygottago i guess it's a matter of taste... Though personally I can't understand why people think the English version is better if the japanese one has as beautiful melody like this,

@geenius3ab it's not just the melody, to me it's the way the words just flow with the music. In the japanese version, there's alot of hard consonant sounds, and with the english version, the language's flow seems a bit softer, which to me fits the feel of the song.

@rayraygottago I feel it completely differently .. The english versions melody just feels ''rigid'' and the japanese most certainly feels softer for me. Even if the japanese versions voice gets louder, it manages to keep the melody softness perfectly, while also the ''feelings'' inside the music got stronger .

Maybe it's cause i'm extremely used to japanese voices that I can relax while listening to them? And I also can partially understand this song.

I'm one of those guys who thinks that dubbing something is a waste of time if they can't get a DECENT dub out, that doesn't make the viewers (Me) pull my hair out.

There's a couple of decent dubs out there, but 90% of the dubs are a complete waste of resources, and what's sadder is the fact that some people are ONLY watching them.

@Brandisofthesand Keeping hitting it basically xD At least that's how I defeated all the times I played the game :D Don't forget to cure and heal whenever you'r poisoned. Also if you move far away from it, I think it get harder for him to hit you. lol haven't played it in years, though I'll be happy to help you with anything as long as I remember :)

Still one of my favorite games. With great graphics for the GameCube and great music  that gives the levels and towns a more realisic feel to them. Plus, the muliplayer can't be beat (though the limited area will get on your nerves with 4 and sometimes 3 players).

Incase anyone didnt realise the english version, and the japanese version were infact sung by the same lady.

Both versions are awesome in their own ways however i grew up with the english song and version of the game so as Aoi0Wind said, the english song brings back more nostalgia for me, however i still love this version :p

The medieval and Renaissance style instruments give the soundtrack an awesome feel. I don't think I ever skipped the opening song because of how incredibly awesome it was in combination with the visuals.
