Are you all stupid or just from San Francisco? How dare they try to fight the decades long gang wars in Cali!! This is one of a handful of useful things that state has done right in the past 40 years. Then people try and tie this in with ACTUAL civil liberty violations happening in the country, which makes nobody want to listen to any of it. Grow up!

All these hippies in the Bay Area protesting the Injunction.. I am a Deep East Oakland native and support the injunction.. Ive shed the tears when losing a loved one to gang violence.. Now the City is finally doing something about it.. Sure its gonna affect everyone in one way or another.. But they have to start somewhere... I have a freind who was put on the top 15 shot callers list. When He went public about it. they said they would take his name of the list if he just move out the neighborhood. If thats not gentrification I dont kow what is. Now this man inherited that house from his father who passed away. Its been passed down for 3 generations. Its Sacred to him. He has no fam anywhere else. And they want him to leave because all his familey and freinds hanging out "lowers property value". But its his Property

gang injunctions are a tool for Gentrification anytime you hear the word Gang injunction it means your neighborhood is slated for gentrification . look at the Mission district they did the same thing now all you mostly see is white people around . there gonna try to do it in the Fruitvale district in a few years you watch and see . the community need to wake up and fight gentrification at all cost .
