its a sexual sin .. regardless of age the sin is still the sin if its an act performed by a male against another male its classed as sexual sin age is irrelevant. if its a male against a female who is unmarried (which a female child would be classed as by default) or not married to the male in question its a sexual sin .. there is no specific verse against paedophilia but then there doesnt need to be its covered by the warning of sexual sin it encompasses all humans all age groups

Sex is good exercise, it feels great, etc. If doing things that didn't produce something was pointless then watching movies, or doing anything else enjoyable but non productive would also be a sin. Thus this is certainly not a good reason to protest homosexuality unless you want to protest infertile couples.

From an outside perspective it just seem a bit hypocritical to pick and choose.

No one pretends to believe that every (not even a moderate number) Catholic is in support of pedeophilia nor that every priest has done so. Rather many are mocked because of their silence. Rather than protesting against the own corruption within their church these individuals are simply forgiven and moved, there actions covered up in many instances, etc. If they're not going to say something, the rest of us will.
