I see the guy is hurt that there is war when it is because of gullible people who fall for the lies time and time again by allowing themselves to be used as tools to keep it functional. The song is obviously an expression of disatisfaction and of love for people it's difficult to explain this is the original punk, when there was a war in Veitnam.People did'nt have a choice to fight then like they do now.
Millions Now Living Will Never Die is the best album by Tortoise but if you don't like their studio albums i don't really know what you should check...
"Blase" perhaps, brilliant DEFINITELY. I love The Red Krayola, possibly cos I've never quite been able to work out what The Point is - I just find 'em fascinating (more now than ever, their new stuff is great too). Would be amazing to see some 1960s/70s footage though - is there any out there? There's a full-length documentary in the works apparently so somebody must know SOMETHING...?
AGAIN , i DID'NT KNOW mAYO WAS DOING ANY OF THE ORIGINAL rk NUMBERS BESIDES "HURRICANE fIGHTER pLANE". i WAS GETTING KIND OF ALIENATED WITH THE LATTER DAY "i'M sO bLASE" POST rOCK stuff...The early , reformed band actually rocked. So does this.
Aren't any vids from 60s'? Love the sound of the first record, with dozen of friends beatin everywhere it resonates, fuggy tapes and freak out effects! They might created a primitiv noise style. I though they were certified or dumb. The original song really kicks ass! but fourty years later, they ve lost substance..
