Charles Darwins theory of evolution has not been rejected. Just like Newtons theory of gravity, both are accepted, viable scientific theories. However, science is always advancing. There comes a point when there occurs a paradigm shift. Newtons laws of motion is rendered useless when dealing with the very fast or the very small, hence the paradigm shift, where Einsteins theory of relativity steps in.

Why can't God have intentionally created evolution? Even with evolution, it is still barely possible that intelligent life would evolve. It doesn't imply deism, God would need to have sent the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs; the ice age and the legendary flood; a carbon, hydrogen and oxygen-based planet in almost perfect circular orbit at the perfect distance etc. I'm an atheist, I just don't get this argument. It can't just be about the fall. It does the same job as a metaphor.

Why can't God have intentionally created evolution? Even with evolution, it is still barely possible that intelligent life would evolve. It doesn't imply deism, God would need to have sent the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs; the ice age and the legendary flood; a carbon, hydrogen and oxygen-based planet in almost perfect circular orbit at the perfect distance etc. I'm an atheist, I just don't get this argument. It can't just be about the fall. It does the same job as a metaphor.

It suggests that you should not harm anyone, but in times of jihad must slay all infidels.
