i've gotta agree with that guy below me... a bass is meant to be part of the rhythm section, it is to be really tight with the drums. When a bass is playing the same riff as the electric guitar you're left with a half-ass rhythm section, and the overall sound of the song may seem like it's missing something. You're skills are decent, but i just think you should focus more on practicing some bass riffs rather than guitar riffs, if that gets boring try some rhythmic solo stuff like victor wooten

Dude, seriously, I don't know how many times I have to say this to people...

If you're going to play a bass like it's a guitar, BUY A FUCKING GUITAR! You have to think of a bass as it's own instrument, separate it entirely from the guitar. It's not meant to be soloed on like that. It sounds stupid, muddy, and just plain crappy.

I know you're imitating the solo on a bass, but it sounds terrible... You may be hitting the right notes, but, seriously, it's a friggin bass.

I DON'T FUCKING CARE IF THAT'S A FUCKING GUITAR SOLO, I JUST WANTED TO PLAY ON A FRIGGIN BASS, BECAUSE THAT WAS JUST WHAT I WANTED TO THAT DAY. so i don't see where is the problem. if you don't like that, avoid to leave stupid comments. if it sucks, it sucks, and consider that i played that almost 2 years ago. i've been playin the guitar for a long time. close to 10 years, and i seriously didn't start getting real good until after i learned a couple CKY songs. then when i learned Test It Out(forget James Murphy's guitar solo) i pretty much knew that i accomplished playing the guitar. now every time i'm at a party i'll pick up someone's guitar and play somethin real shitty, then someone will ask me if i can play and i say a little, and bust cky out. it's funny. i recommend it. but good job, man.
