Even though you may think music like this is gone, there are bands out their like Whither the Tide (shameless plug) who are creating new music influenced by the 90s sounds. Filter's last album was pretty good too if you missed out on it.
Sooooo, idk if you'd call my music "industrial" but it's damn close! Stop by and check out my music, Unknown Sightings and Unforgotten Space are 2 of my favorites, but listen to them all if you have the time and show your friends. =) I hope people can enjoy my music some day.
@metalandsex Hahahaha! You talk shit on all this house and deadmau5. This music sounds like SHIT. And by your girlfriend you mean Palmela Handerson. I don't see you fucking anything with legs except for livestock.
@dreamlogicc This video has plenty of the singer doing gyrations/dancing/standing there. For me, this is all a waste. By "the band" I am referring to the guys making the wild, kick-ass music! I would rather see them playing their instruments i.e.making the music, than see a bunch of boring "filler"
Easy to see why this band never made the big times. Their Videos stink!! The band is making this great, wild, insane music; BUT the video shows the band for all of 10 seconds!!! What is that all about??? Gulg!!
@Danielmutt i always thought that was a sign that the band wasn't full of them selves, and not obsessed with their own image. i think Tool is a pretty good example of a band that is rather successful, but has NEVER appeared in their own videos..
This was a great and memorable song. I look at the video and see the Las Vegas metro area and it reminds me that I actually bought the debut album of Gravity Kills in a small mall in Laughlin, Nevada (1996). I was 14 when this cd came out and I'm still hooked on it today LOL
I hung out with this guy in the St. Louis underground scene, we were always at the same clubs, and afterparties. When I saw the vids the following year, I was like HOLY SHIT! I know this dude, I wish I would have talked to him! How dense and STUPID can I be, we could've jammed or something. I was trying to combine ReBirth/Reason with organic/analog guitar / harmonica at the time! FUCK! Tom Neal
to all who enjoy this song watch the akira video of the same song and come to realize there should have never have been another music video besides that one.
Ahh the 90s... don't remember much but I love what I do remember. Heard this song on Test Drive Off Road I love old 90s game with their cheesy graphics. Reminds me of playing TDOR on my parents ancient computer in that tiny base house.
I haven't thought of either the game or the band in over a decade.. for some strange reason I remembered the game in a nap I JUST had. Strange. Thank you for uploading this!
I can hear just a bit of the James Bond theme in this song. In fact it almost sounds like it could work for The World Is Not Enough. Its in the lyrics: "Whos gonna tell me about your WORLD? It's Not Enough!"
They were basically main stream - Their music is on a number of movies, the radio played the hell out of the this song and a few others, and they toured like mad. They played 3 or 4 concerts just in my city alone - In one year.
This was back when bands were allowed more room to do what they wanted, and wasn't as controlled and commercialized as it is now. I saw them once with God lives underwater and Stabbing Westward.
The First Band I Ever "Really" Got Into Back In 1996 So, To That I Say Thank You Test Drive Off Road.
And Here's A Fun Little Fact: Did You Know Gravity Kill's Manager Threw Out Their Career Was The Wife Of None Other Then Black Sabbath Bassist Geezer Butler?
I love this song too. Everybody would say "they're just a NIN rip-off" but I never liked NIN but liked a lot of stuff by these guys. I don't know if it's a St. Louis thing or what.
These dudes put on the best smaller venue shows I have ever seen here in Chicago. At Metro.

Why is it that if two bands play the same type of music people will say the younger band is a rip off rather than a band that plays in the same syle?
When did this start? did peolple used to say "That Elvis is just a Carl Perkins rip off"?
