what i'm wondering is in the series and in the movie we only see the sword of Dios get pulled out we never see how its put back in... AWSOME AMV!!! the song fits purfectly!
Well, you know, in the manga (volume 3) when Utena re-duels Touga, one of the ways that he 'proves' that he'll be the one to reach the castle is by putting the sword back into Anthy and pulling it out sharper and brighter. 'Course, then Dios comes down and smiles at Utena, so needless to say that argument falls a little flat ^_^.
actually, they are not lovers in the movie if you believe me. The director just wondered what it would be like if the kissed (video commentary). Otherwise Chiho Saito won't let him.
they're not lesbian, not in the beginning. But in the movie version they really fall in love and ends up running away together (ops, that was a spoiler xP) I like the movie better because there you can be satisfied by the love between Utan and Anthy!!
the movie gives a lotta hints, yeah. And they do kiss. But the movie is like a total retelling of the story. The TV series hints a LOT but isn't as bad.
