and falling into eachothers arms

the moment " momentos " is what counts here.

And if you look to desperately for the reasons why he ended up in the street you are missing the moment, thus you are missing the whole message of this beautiful short film

Sometimes we don't need to know the entire story to feel the impact of the moment.

Maybe he was a drunk they kicked out years ago then recently found out he was actually living in the streets. Maybe now he will know they still love him. Maybe that is enough to get him into rehab. The scenarios are endless. But I feel the idea is that they loved him enough to try one more time... Just how I felt watching it. It touched home.

My sister had a job working with the homeless and i'm doing volunteer work this year abroad. I have also gotten information off another woman who dose work in spreading awareness of homelessness so i would know more than your average person. I know of the dangers of being homeless and the day to day troubles although admittedly i have never had a first hand experience of living rough.

people go through different situations, not every individual or everyone's family is perfect/ideal.  the parents could have been seperated and/or divorced, and then the husband could have maybe lost his job or gone through something similar. he could even have some type of illness/disorder that resulted in his current situation. there's no way to know but keeping an open mind allows us to make these hypothetical connections.
