Lars Ulrich is by no means a talented or knowledgeable drummer. All that he displays in this video is the ability to play basic beats, double bass run (at an inconsistent tempo), and entertain a crowd. To his credit, he does that well. However, his technical ability is nothing impressive. His total use of arm, rather than wrist. Inability to hold a beat. Unoriginality in a solo. Focus on playing as fast and hard as he can, rather than create a musical piece. You see these things in new drummers.
