Today I read Syria has mass storage of chemical & biological weapons. It would be a huge mistake when syria attacks with this awful weapon. I wouldnt be suprised though if in the near future Assad is going to attack Israel with chemical weapons.

I agree with you for the most part. I do not consider myself a supporter of al-Assad, nor of the Ba'ath Party, but Syria has to be one of the best places for Christians to live in the Middle East, as I certainly have not heard of persecution against Christians there. If al-Assad works so hard to maintain unity for people, which so many people imagine to be impossible in Arab countries, I am willing to be skeptical of the media and it saying al-Assad is killing these same people.

Beautiful!! Notice that there were representatives of various eastern Churches: of the Byzantine, Syriac, & Maronite Catholic. The Syriacs have the hood with the crosses on them, even their bishops following this ancient practice. The Byzantines have the tall black cap with veil, both monks and bishops. The Maronites I could only see some churches, but it is marvelous that so many Christians keep alive the faith in Syria and Lebanon (and Egypt). The Syriacs even use Syriac language (Aramaic)
