@SarasCitys The difference between Turkey and Iran is Turkey is a European style secular state and Iran is an Islamic state. The west learnt 600 years ago that theocracies( a state ruled by religion) is bad for society thats why we have a separation of church and state today. But its unfair to blame all destruction on Arabs. Lets be honest. The Abbasid Arabs had favored the Persians on ethnic Arabs. The Persians and the Turkic peoples were patrons of Islam more than the Arabs. Example, you will find millions of Arabs who are NOT Muslims, while you'll find very few Persians who are Not.

The Arabs as well had borroed from Persian, Turkic language, Albanian, Italian, French, and English. That is a normal situation. Ferdowsi wrote his books in Arabic, Persian ,and Turkish because these three languages were coofficial during the Turkic rule of Iran 1258-1925.

There are 6 million Christians in Sudan, whose country became independent in August 2010, & known as South Sudan. Yemen has no Christian minority at all. Syrian Christians are neutral in the current unrest as well as the Iraqi Christians who are attacked from time to time by radicalists. @anarmehtievful of course there R Persians who got mixed with turks ,mongol and arabs ,most of them have lost their indo european languages & today they R called azaris,uzbaks ,Khazaks,etc (mixed with turkmans ) ,bahrains ,emaratis, Qataris ,Omanis (mixed with arabs) ,hazara afghans (mixed with mongol).
all of these countries used 2 part of the PERSIAN EMPIRE and all of these ppl used 2 b once racially and culturally Persians .but 2day they R regarded as turkified or arabized .

Vast majority of the peoples of Iran speak an indo-european tongue, although there are Turkic speakers (azeris, turkoman, e.g.) and arabic speaking minorities in Iran. Also Azeris are NOT Turks. They are Iranic peoples who speak a Turkic language (a remnant of the Seljuk era). Genetic studies confirm that Azeris are Iranians related to Persians not Turks

@ClearMindedOne studies show that the dominant haplotype among the Iranian Azaris is J2 while Only 6% Ra1 Indo European (Aryan) frequency is found in North western Iran (Azerbaijan)
J2 is also very common in turkey,Georgia & the Anatolian highlands,& in Iran its at the highest by the lake Urmia in Azerbaijan,despite being related to J, J2 is not an Arabic or Turkic indicator but its NOT Indo European either
Azeris r close to other Caucasians but with a higher frequency of Turkic genes

@ClearMindedOne while the Ra1 Indo European indicator is the dominant haplotype among the Persian speaking pop in central and eastern Iran ,like in Kerman and Yazd ( up to 60% in Khorasan ) and it gets even higher as we go east ,( Northern India at the highest ) .Ra1 is also Very high in Europe and North America .
no such thing as Turkic speaking Iranics , Indo-Iranians are known by their Indo-european languages & genetically there isnt much difference between a Kurd, Azari,Turk,Georgian
