  • Chess board analogy was done badly as the rook needs the minimum step to be two squares not one for symmetry .

  • About the NaCl vs. infinite board: isn't the NaCl only "approximately symmetric" since the lattice is finite as opposed to the infinite board which is truly symmetric?

  • Did the laws of the early universe form through spontaneous symmetry breaking?
