Follow up to my previous post - if the son did something inadvertent like strike out, and his dad said that to him, then yes, that is definitely fucked up. But if the son didn't run out a grounder or didn't try hard on defense, that is another thing. But the dad is just trying to toughen up his son. Let's don't make this dude out to be a total bad guy.

@ThisMomentIsHeated All I'm saying is that we don't know what the kid did before this to cause the father to say this. We also don't know if the father was just messing around or if he actually "made good" on his threats. For all we know, someone voice dubbed this whole thing. As clear as the voices are, it's as if the dad was wearing a mike. Anyhow - parents are too soft on kids nowadays. Kids need a little push once in a while. I don't advocate child abuse, but a little motivation is OK.

My wife, and i foster unwanted children, that people won't adopted, because they are not cute little babys. I firmly believe people should have a license to have children, to make sure they will be good parents, and the ones that are not good, should abort, and be sterilized, because in the end the children suffer. Plus its the womans choice wether she wants to have a baby or not, not society's.
