  • Uuuuuuiku

  • Stop Walker! Stop Christie! Stop the galloping fascism sweeping over the USA, for the love of your children and for those who died to make this country free!

  • To Arms against Fascism!

  • Power in the voice with one of the most beautiful timbre i've ever heard. Bravo

  • Ordered Paul Robeson Remembered last night! Listened to everything I could find Kevin Maynor singing: Maynor's voice equals Paul Robeson, my humble opinion

  • many many thanks for this: First I have heard Kevin Maynor. superb voice!! He follows Robeson version, and his voice almost approaches Robesons! Thank you!!

  • All power to the working class!

  • Beautifully sung, and what a great song about the US establishment's corruption & violence 100 years ago.

  • And there is still death scentenses...

  • to my thousands of fans. please do not by this disc from fleurdeson classics . they have never paid me royalties !!!!!

    paul robeson remembered

  • this is a really, really gorgeous rendition. thanks so much for posting it!

  • fantastic!

  • Terrific post.

  • I got a chance to work with this great artist.

    :)

  • Beautiful voice. The Met seems to miss many great artists, doesn't it? One obvious question: is he any relation to Dorothy Maynor?

Thanks for another great one. You do good work!

    Five stars.

  • Kevin Maynor is sounding really great here. I was lucky to hear him many times, when we shared a voice teacher at Northwestern University. His low notes made the blinds in the studio rattle! Without a doubt, this is one of the great basso-profundos of our time and is quite well known in the major opera houses of the world. And yes, definitely carries Paul Robeson's legacy forward.

  • What a beautifully resonant voice Mr. Maynor has.Just a wonderful, dark timbre as well.Grazie mille for sharing this great piece.

  • isnt this phil ochs song?

  • No, it is song of working men.

  • How Sad that this

is the only post of Kevin Maynor.

    Like Robeson with more legatto.

  • Wow what a voice, sounds earily reminicent of Paul Robeson. . .Thanks for posting, please post more . . . . .

  • It's hard to express my gratitude (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) to you for posting this. What a voice! Hearing Kevin Maynor for the first time is revelatory, and naturally makes me hungry for more of this deliciously deep, rich and resonant sound. But since I used up my budget for music long ago, all I can say is "thank goodness for Kankonchak's taste, erudition, and most of all his gratitude in chosing a hobby that brings so much knowledge and unbridled visceral joy to the rest of us.
